Julia Buencamino committed suicide on Tuesday in their Quezon City home. She was found hanging from the ceiling around by their household help around 8 PM.
The 15-year-old actress is the youngest daughter of character actors Noni and Shamaine Buencamino. She is in the cast of ABS-CBN's daytime series "Oh My G!" where she plays Aimee, the best friend of lead star Janella Salvador.
The news about Julia's death, which broke out Wednesday morning, saddened her co-stars in the Kapamilya program.
Janella took to Twitter to express her sadness.
The teen star wrote that she's "deeply saddened and shocked" on the death of her "bestie."
Marlo Mortel took to Instagram to repost an Instagram photo of Julia cuddling his dog.
"I still can't believe it. We shared a lot of moments together and always had the longest hugs," Marlo wrote in the caption.
Tom Doromal posted on Instagram a photo with Julia.
"Julia, Aimee, bestie… It was too early… The whole family will be praying for you," Tom wrote in the caption of the photo taken from the set of "Oh My G!"
Patrick Sugui, meanwhile, tweeted: "Rest in peace, Julia Buencamino. We love you."
According to reports, Noni Buencamino has requested that the investigation on his daughter's death be stopped. They are convinced that it was indeed suicide.
