Singing Bee's Apple Chiu Releases Album

One of the mainstay singers of Singing Bee, a weekend singing game show, is releasing a self-titled debut, Apple Chiu. Known for her power ballads, I'm sure she's gonna amaze us with her powerful voice in this new cd.


Before becoming a Singing Bee resident singer, Apple was a contestant in the first Idol franchise, Philippine Idol, which was aired over TV5. She competed against Gian Magdangal (now in GMA-7) and Miguel Mendoza (who eventually became a finalist of PDA 2). Philippine Idol was won by Mao Marcelo, who is a product of another singing competition, the defunct Star for a Night, where Sarah Geronimo was declared the winner.




I hope this is the start of something big for Apple Ciu.




The album consists of two original songs and the rest are revivals.
