SP: Palau: No Fail for Koror

Koror had Suzuki and Echo sit out during the Reward Challenge. I really wonder why they chose Jef over either of the two but anyway, Koror won again. And the reward this week: pizza and a basket of food they could bring with them back to camp.
Reward, 28sept09 Mika was evidently pissed with Tara for performing so poorly during the "put-the-puzzle-pieces-underwater" challenge. But really, Tara wasted precious time during her first turn. Then when all the Airai members already had their turns, and anybody among them could go swim to do the next puzzle piece, Tara went for it. I'm sure she just wanted to make up for her poor first turn, but again, she wasn't able to prove herself worthy.
Koror winning Reward Challenge 28sept09 Koror was so happy with the win. And with that proper boost of food, they have once again the edge to compete for the next Immunity Challenge.

SP: Palau - Justine Beats Louie

Louie was sent packing from the camp of Airai. The rest of the Airai tribe - Cris, Mika, Tara, and Charles - all voted him off.

Louie's after-eviction interview just showed how he lacked sportsmanship and manners. He cursed Tara so many times for voting him off. Louie even said that he just hoped Tara knew what she was doing.

Well, perhaps so. Because she's still in the game.

At the Snake Island, Justine met Louie with superficial joy. She expressed in the interview, though, how she felt about Louie and the rest of her old-Koror tribemates. She told Louie how she was half-expecting either Tara or Echo to go to the Snake Island that day, and how she had been wanting to show the two girls what she's got. In her own words, "pakakainin ko sila ng alikabok" (i will make them eat my dust). All because she thought Echo and Tara plotted her supposed early eviction (they were supposed to be allies).

Louie justified Justine's thoughts by feeding her with wrong info about who plotted her eviction, when he's the real culprit.

Justine and Louie competed in a challenge where they had to hang on to a pole. Much like the local game palo sebo where one has to reach for the price at the end of a pole. The only difference in this challenge was that the one who stays longer hanging on, wins.

Justine showed Louie how strong she was by barely showing any difficulty while he was so struggling to hang on. And by that, the Immunity Bracelet once again went to Justine.

I really, really hope she stays up until the merge. The Snake Island loves her!

Watch: Astro Boy Trailer

The well-loved Japanese manga and tv program Astro Boy has been made into a CGI movie. It’s just too good to know that one of my favorite animated hero isn’t forgotten at all.

Astro Boy first appeared on Japanese comics in 1952, created by Osamu Tezuka. From then on, it evolved into television, computer games, and now the movies.
Astro Boy
This new movie features celebrity voices such as those of Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane, and Freddie Highmore. Released by Sony Pictures, Astro Boy will hit theaters beginning October 23, 2009.

Watch the trailer below.

SP: Palau - A Weak Resistance

Koror is still upset about the exchange of camps. Echo says they don't deserve to be in Airai camp because they have worked so hard to make their camp as comfortable as it is now. They are so disgusted with the trash scattered all over the place and even inside the sleeping quarters which Echo calls “lungga.”

Meanwhile, Airai is busy making alliances. I guess it’s either Tara or Louie tomorrow night, but then again, we never know. Like I was wrong in thinking the Tribal Council is gonna happen tonight.
Louie is busy coaxing Mika to allow him to sleep beside her. But Mika is firm in saying that she will not allow it. Well, she shouldn’t have let Troy do those naughty things to her in all those nights he slept beside her. Because now her saying “no” to Louie is to me as weak as a kid saying no to chocolates. Or is it just me? Or perhaps she also had the hots for Troy?

Louie is not that likeable but hey, Louie is several notches above Troy when it comes to likeability. But then again, Mika has her own standards.

There will only be 10 castaways left in Palau after tomorrow night's Tribal Council, and another one in Isla Purgatoryo. The merge is so near.

SP: Palau – Of Fruit Bats and Switch Camps

Oh gawd! For the Immunity Challenge, the castaways were made to eat raw fruit bats. Jef was made to sit out from the challenge since the two tribes are not in equal number of members. Also, Koror might have thought they’d lose if someone else sat out.
sp: palau - immunity challenge 23sept09
And they were right, cuz Koror won the Immunity Challenge again! Winning streak for Koror, actually. Since the two tribes were regrouped, Airai had not won a single Immunity Challenge.

Koror gave the Immunity Bracelet to Cris, for the second time around. But are they making the right decision? According to Mika, Cris threw up what’s left in his mouth during the challenge because he wanted Koror to win. Why? Because he didn’t want to put Shaun in jeopardy of being evicted. Cris and Shaun have a pact; they talked during the last Reward Challenge despite the rule that members from different tribes cannot exchange words. Paolo even stopped them from talking.

Cris is safe from the Tribal Council tomorrow. Who would Airai vote off? Would it be Tara or Cris?

Another twist was announced after Koror was declared winner of the Immunity Challenge – the two tribes would have to exchange camps. The Koror tribe mourned. Gone were the blankets and sleeping mats they acquired from the massage reward. They have only used them for a night. And arriving at the Airai camp, they were disgusted at what they saw – the dirt, the shabby “house,” the area seemed abandoned.

The Airai tribe, on the other hand, rejoiced in their new camp. Mika even said that she could live there even for a year.

Singing Bee's Apple Chiu Releases Album

apple chiu.jpegOne of the mainstay singers of Singing Bee, a weekend singing game show, is releasing a self-titled debut, Apple Chiu. Known for her power ballads, I'm sure she's gonna amaze us with her powerful voice in this new cd.

Before becoming a Singing Bee resident singer, Apple was a contestant in the first Idol franchise, Philippine Idol, which was aired over TV5. She competed against Gian Magdangal (now in GMA-7) and Miguel Mendoza (who eventually became a finalist of PDA 2). Philippine Idol was won by Mao Marcelo, who is a product of another singing competition, the defunct Star for a Night, where Sarah Geronimo was declared the winner.

I hope this is the start of something big for Apple Ciu.

The album consists of two original songs and the rest are revivals.

Tracks include:

1. Dito sa Puso Ko

2. Ikaw Ang Kailangan

3. Hindi Magbabago

4. Paano Bang Umibig

5. Sa Kanya

6. Sa Aking Puso

7. Paano Ba Ang Mangarap

8. Ikaw Ang Kailangan (minus one)

9. Paano Ba Ang Umibig (minus one)

10. Ikaw Ang Kailangan (acoustic)

SP: Palau - Troy Goes, Justine's Winning Streak Continues

It's such a relief that Justine was able to find an effective technique in her challenge against Troy at the Isla Purgatoryo. In the challenge, they had to bring a 29 kilogram piece of weight from the ocean bed to the beach. The weights were each tied to a bundle of bamboo that served as buoy. At first, it was impossible to move the weight, but as Justine found out, she could grab on to the rope to keep her feet on the ocean's floor and she could walk underwater while dragging the weight with her.

So it's finally goodbye Palau for Troy and I'm sure a lot of Survivor fans are delighted.

Tonight's episode consisted of two challenges. Other than that of the Isla Purgatoryo challenge, this week's Reward Challenge was also shown tonight. Reward Challenges are usually aired Tuesday or Wednesday so I have this feeling that they're cooking up something towards the end of the week. The Merge? Hope so, cuz there's only 11 castaways left aside from Justine.

Reward Challenge
The challenge involved endurance as the castaways had to hang on with their arms and legs to a pole horizontally suspended only a few feet from the ground. The tribe with the last remaining member left hanging without touching the ground will win the reward of a full body massage in the comforts of their camp, not to mention they get to keep the two massage beds that they can use to rest more comfortably. Since the two tribes have unequal number of members, Koror decided to sit out Amanda to be in equal number with Airai.

Cris Bolado fell first. With that mass of a body, one could only assume that he wouldn't be able to hang on long. And luckily for Koror, Echo and Marvin were the last ones left which meant that Koror won this week's reward. Mika was the last Airai member to fall with a time of more than two hours.

I'm guessing that Justine, who's an original Koror member, would also get a massage. She could actually use that to boost herself up a little. I'm sure it's so hard to only have Jumbo for company for three straight days at a time.

TGIS Reunion on “Shall We Dance?”

tgis reunion on shall we danceFour of the cast of the 90s GMA-7 hit teen show, TGIS, had a reunion on TV5’s “Shall We Dance?” hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez.

The episode was titled TGIS, which for the night they changed the meaning to “Tagisan ng Galing sa Indakan at Sayawan.”

Bobby Andrews, Angelu de Leon, Ciara Sotto, and Michael Flores tried to outshine one another with their ballroom dancing powers. Bobby, who even in his teen star days was so vocal with his dancing incapability, said he’d rather conquer his fear (of dancing) than say no to appearing on “Shall We Dance?” and the chance to work again with his old friends.

Bobby Andrews on Shall We Dance
As it turned out, Bobby really conquered his fear because all three judges (Douglas Quijano, Edna Ledesma, and Regine Tolentino) liked his dancing. Too bad, though, that he didn’t win because Ciara Sotto, who regularly appears on GMA-7’s Eat Bulaga (and is therefore more currently trained) won the competition even over the ex-Maneuvers member, Michael Flores, who said that it’s his first time to dance again after two years.

edna ledesma and john avila
The show’s co-host, John Avila (tagged “English muffin” by Lucy), also did some “dirty dancing” with judge Edna Ledesma as a tribute to Patrick Swayze who has just passed away. His sexy moves really elicited loud cheers from the audience.

Other co-hosts of the night were Tuesday Vargas and Michelle Obama impersonator Michelle Obombshell.

Aljur and Kris on Hot Seat

Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal
Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal guested on GMA's Showbiz Central for John Lapuz's "Don't Lie To Me." The segment was titled "Buwis Buhay Edition" because John Lapuz prepared dangerous stunts for his dance routine everytime the polygraph senses that someone is telling a lie.

As it turned out, the polygraph's result to the question of whether they feel jealous everytime either of them is being linked to someone else, was "LIE." Both Aljur and Kris said they were not jealous at all.

And since John Lapuz had to dance everytime the result was "LIE," he did dance with his dancers who had to lift and toss John in the air.

The last question was if Kris considers Aljur as her most beloved at the moment, and if Aljur really loves Kris. The said yes to their respective questions but the polygraph disagreed with Aljur's answer.

As eventually explained by John, perhaps Aljur got nervous when he answered the question. Polygraph uses heartbeat to tell whether someone's lying or not. And yes, it isn't completely accurate.

So John had to dance again. This time, blindfolded. Imagine doing his stunts blindfolded. But oh well, he did it successfully.

Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal have an upcoming launching movie entitled "Nandito Ako Nagmamahal Sa 'Yo" which also stars Carlo Aquino, who is also being linked to Kris.

Movie trailer below.

Celebrity Duets - Akihiro Sato's Looks Will Make Fans Vote

Akihiro Sato on Celebrity Duets

Akihiro Sato sang better last night on Celebrity Duets, and it was noticed by judge Tessa Valdez. He did a duet of the song “La Bamba” with ace comedian and sing-a-long master, Allan K. Perhaps Allan’s engaging way of singing helped in Akihiro’s performance.

Akihiro Sato and Allan K on Celebrity Duets
But really, good singing or not, I personally think Aki will go a little farther in this competition than his singing ability will take him anywhere. Good looks and all, people will surely vote for him.

SP: Palau - Airai Votes For Troy

Koror won in the Immunity Challenge last night and they gave the Immunity Bracelet to Cris of Airai.

Troy is so confident that he has an alliance in Louie. Little does he know that all his Airai tribemates are one in thinking that he should be the one to go.

Meanwhile, Koror thinks that Troy is physically weak and is no threat to them at all. It would actually be in favor of them if Airai would vote out Louie, their original tribemate.

In the tribal council, Troy gets all of his tribemates' votes. He alone voted for Tara, the talkative Inglesera.

Tara is so talkative that at one point before the Tribal Council, Mika couldn't help but raise an eyebrow while Tara is talking. Mika explained in the interview that she really does make faces everytime she hears something that she can't relate to. But I personally think it's Tara's grammar that Mika made face to.

And to think that Tara teaches English to Koreans!

But Mika's make-face routine gets annoying. During the Tribal Council, the camera is focused mostly on her face to catch her reactions to whatever her tribemates say.

I just wonder what "face" she would have made had she heard Tara's little speech after writing Troy's name in the ballot. Tara to Troy: "You are weaker than I do."

Classic.

SP: Palau - Love is in Koror

SP: Palau's Suzuki Suzuki decides to dress like a girl by using his Koror buff as tube, and putting coconut shells in his chests to make it look like a woman’s breasts. The Koror tribe had a blast especially when Suzuki rolled up his shorts to complete the get-up. The Fil-Jap model is really a natural comedian.

Meanwhile, it seems like mosquitoes are feasting on Jef and Suzuki’s body as they are so full of mosquito bites. Suzuki is even concerned about the scars it might leave on his skin. As we all know, he models (as well as Jef).

Amanda, on the other hand, still feels bad about being in the bottom 3 during yesterday’s “survey.” Actually, the three of them from Airai (she, Jef, and Shaun) are in the bottom 3, while the original Koror tribemates (Marvin, Suzuki, and Echo) are the ones in the upper three. It’s a realization that the three original Koror members are so tight, and that the three of them originally from Airai should also stick together.

Tonight’s episode is more on Koror. Almost half of it is about Jef and Marvin, who are developing quite a friendship. Jef describes Marvin as deep, matured, and mysterious. Amanda even says she won’t be surprised if Jef eventually falls for Marvin.

After all the getting-to-know-Marvin talk, Jef cried to Echo. She’s worried about how her boyfriend Nyoy Volante would feel when he gets to watch it on television.

Airai and Koror both received a tree mail later in the day. Each tribe has to choose one ambassador each. The mail further instructs them to be alert.

Koror chooses Amanda, cuz as Marvin says, she’s matalino. Lilkewise, the Airai tribe chose a girl to be their ambassador. And for them, Tara is the perfect choice.

The ambassadors start working, receiving another tree mail that makes it necessary for them to go out of camp, leaving the other members behind.

SP: Palau - Vlad Gives Way

SP: Palau's Vlad/survivorphilippines.tv
It's quite surprising when Vlad said he won't go any further anymore with the competition. Although his state of health was hinted to us when in some episodes ago, Mika told Cris how Vlad does nothing at their camp; how he just sits in one place most of the time as if something's wrong. Mika even said that it's perhaps because Vlad doesn't have any more fats in his body.

Mika's words proved to be true when Vlad didn't even try to compete it out with Justine in Isla Purgatoryo. He wanted to go home.

Remember how the ex-Airais Jef, Amanda, and Shaun rejoiced when they first stepped foot on Koror's camp and found out there's food? Poor Airai.

In the Reward Challenge, Paolo gave each castaway a piece of paper and a pen to write down the names of their five tribe members according to how they like them. That is, number 1 should be the tribe member you most like and number 5 should be the least liked.

After the "survey," Paolo asked them to remove their buffs. At first you would think there's gonna be a reshuffle again, as what Mika thought. But no, they were just regrouped especially for the challenge.

By average, the 6 least liked castaways were put in one group, and 6 most liked ones in another.

most liked group
The most liked castaways are Charles, Mika, Marvin, Echo, Cris, and Suzuki.

least liked group
While the least liked castaways include Tara, Louie, Jef, Shaun, Troy, and Amanda.

And who will win but those who had been morally boosted from the start of the competition? Of course the most liked group won!

Wouldn't you feel down when you learned that you're one of the less liked? Of course you would. I guess that's what happened to the losing group. And of course, the winning group had Cris Bolado. That's a "big" plus. But surprisingly, during the final round, they were able to push Bolado down the platform. Bolado's group still won, anyway, so congratulations to them.

And the price? Crispy pata and ice cold Coke Zero. They had a feast while the losing group watched so close behind them. It must have been real torture for the "less liked" ones.

"New Moon" Trailer

I'm a Twilight fan. So it makes me so excited everytime there's a new something about it that comes out.

But this new trailer will excite even the non-diehard fans of the series.

Dakota Fanning is lovely. Great new addition.

Winner of MTV Video Music Awards

MTV Video Music Awards might be the night Taylor Swift got humiliated but looking at it on the brighter side, it's also the night she gained the respect and admiration of almost everyone. Those who don't even listen to her songs before became her instant fans; those who don't talk about her are now interested in her.

Let's just wish the kid more VMAs and less humiliation. Her security should keep a close watch next time she delivers an acceptance speech.

Here are the winners of the recently concluded MTV VMAs:

Video of the Year - Beyonce, "Single Ladies"
Best Female Video - Taylor Swift, "You Belong With Me"
Best Male Video - T.I. featuring Rihanna, "Live Your Life"
Best Pop Video - Britney Spears, "Womanizer"
Best New Artist - Lady Gaga
Best Rock Video - Green Day, "21 Guns"
Best Hip Hop Video - Eminem, "We Made You"
Best Breakthrough Video - Matt & Kim: "Lessons Learned"
Best Video That Should Have Won A Moonman - Beastie Boys, "Sabotage"

Letting Taylor Have Her Moment

Beyonce Knowles won Video of the Year award for "Single Ladies" at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Earlier in the show, Kanye West humiliated Taylor Swift while the teen singer was delivering her acceptance speech for Best Female Video (You Belong With Me). Kanye snatched the mic off Taylor's hand just to say that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Beyonce, on stage accepting her award, recalled how she was 17-year-old with Destiny's Child when she had her first award. She said it was very special to her. And with that, she called Taylor Swift on the stage to have her moment.

Taylor got a standing ovation from the audience. The sympathy is hers.

While Beyonce came out as a hero.

Clip below.

Kanye West Ruins Taylor Swift's VMA Acceptance Speech

Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video for her "You Belong With Me" MV at the MTV Video Music Awards. You can see how happy and thrilled she was during her speech, when all of a sudden Kanye West walked up the stage, got Taylor's microphone just to say on national television that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Kanye gave the mic back to a stunned and speechless 19-year old country singer.

I feel for Taylor Swift, really. Kanye West so ruined her moment. You can tell that Taylor didn't know what to do at that point. For sure, she didn't expect such unethical manner to be bestowed upon her on that stage.

And who the hell is Kanye West to mess with VMA's decision?

We should really just stop supporting Kanye West to make him feel that he can't just walk up the stage and diss someone in the middle of her acceptance speech.

Oh, I'm so sad for Taylor Swift. I now love her even more.

Pinoy Big Brother 3 Double Up

Pinoy Big Brother/en.wikipedia.org The third season of Pinoy Big Brother, which is being tagged as "Pinoy Big Brother 3 Double Up," is about to hit the local television. The PBB team is currently busy choosing among the Top 50 potential housemates for the final cast of the said reality show.

"Double Up" is still a big mystery. Is it "two housemates as one?" People have many different guesses, actually. But the real deal will be revealed by hosts Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, and Mariel Rodriguez at the show's launch on October 4th.

Pinoy Big Brother had 17 auditions around the country for the third season, and had 57,824 hopefuls in all.

Filipinos in the U.S. and Japan also have a chance to audition for the PBB Teen Edition 3 and Pinoy Dream Academy 3. In Japan, it's gonna be on September 13 at the Forum Building, 2nd Floor, Imperial Roppongi, Roppongi, Tokyo. Registration starts at 9 a.m.

In the U.S. it's gonna be on September 20 during the "One Kapamilya Go Fiesta" event in Santa Clara, California.

Celebrity Duets 3: Goodbye Janina

It's the first elimination night in Celebrity Duets but the celebrity contenders performed as if there's no reason to be worried about. I personally liked Gina Alajar's performance with the Sex Bomb, but the best one for me was Maxi Cinco's number with rapper Andrew E. They did the rap that made Andrew a hit back then, Humanap Ka Ng Pangit. Maxi's version was so amusing as he translated his lyrics in the local gay lingo.
Janina San Miguel/igma.tv It's just too bad that Janina San Miguel had to be the first to go. She's exciting and despite the singing incapability, she's a fabulous and performance-wise, a great one to watch. I could name one or two celebrity contender that is less deserving than Janina but the competition is all based on text votes that the ones with more "fans" win.

SP: Palau - Vlad-less Airai

Members of the Koror tribe read the letters from their loved ones, which they got as a reward that went with winning the last Immunity Challenge. Everyone got so emotional while reading their letters and looking at the pictures from their loved ones.

The letters reminded them of their purpose in joining Survivor Philippines. It heated up their determination to win and be the second sole survivor.
SP: Palau's Vlad Nesas/survivorphilippines.tv Unluckily, it's time for one of the Airai members to be voted off. And after all the convincing and campaigning against Louie, Vlad himself was voted off. The rest of the tribe actually voted for him aside from Troy and himself.

Now the question is, will Justine stand a chance in a challenge against Vlad in Isla Purgatoryo?

The end of the show was actually intriguing. As the show ends, the voices of Justine and Vlad talking to each other could be heard.

Justine: Sabi ng katawan ko, ayaw ko na.
Vlad: Baka hindi na tayo magtsa-challenge.

Is Justine giving up? Or was it just edited to lead us on?

Can't wait for Monday.

SP: Palau - For Immunity and a Lil Lovin'

It's Immunity Challenge time once again in Survivor Philippines: Palau. Actually, it's the first Immunity Challenge since the regroup, but they have already been in a challenge (where Airai won fishballs galore) so the castaways pretty know already how their respective new group performs during a competition.

But tonight's challenge wasn't solely for the much coveted Immunity Idol. As Paolo related, a reward will also be given to the winning tribe.

And to give the castaways a taste of the reward to be had, Paolo gave each of them a picture of their loved one(s). That alone made the castaways so emotional and most of them cried.

To further torture lead them on, Paolo read part of the letter of one member from each tribe. For Airai, Paolo read part of Vlad's letter from his mom. And for Koror, he chose to read part of Echo's letter (also from her mom).

It goes on to say that the winning tribe will not only be spared from the Tribal Council the following day, but also get to read their loved ones' letters.

Paolo started the challenge by saying "For Immunity at konting pagmamahal!"

I'm sure it made the castaways give their best for the challenge, aside, of course, from Tara who was made to sit out by the Airai tribe to equal the members of Koror.

The challenge consisted of a steel cage (with no top and bottom) where the members of the tribe will get into. From the inside, they will carry the cage to 6 stations to get the 6 plates they need to use as weight to acquire the key to the cage. Once opened, the tribe inside the cage will go out and run to the mat with the name of their tribe.

One could sense that Koror now has such positive vibe going on. With Charles, Louie, and Tara transferred to Airai, you could sense the happiness and cooperation among them. It could be recalled that Echo hated Louie's constant bad mouthing. Charles was also not so positive since he was considered a weakling. As with Tara, she flirted so much with Suzuki and Louie that it somehow brought annoyance to the other tribe members.

The new additions to the tribe - Shaun, Jef, and Amanda - easily blended in the group. With Jef's happy nature and Amanda's sincerity, the old members of Koror easily liked them.

With regards to the other tribe, Vlad and Troy seem to like playing it dirty, but they don't have the ability to do it well. As Cris noted, Vlad even seemed to want to lose the challenge to get rid of one of them. Cris actually noticed Vlad not cooperating while the team was carrying the steel cage. Vlad and Cris took up the rear so Cris would really know what Vlad was doing.
Koror flag/survivorphilippines.tv As expected even in the early stages of the Immunity Challenge, the Koror tribe won the Immunity Idol, saving them from the Tribal Council and getting the letters of their loved ones as the promised additional reward.

Vlad, on the other hand, took no time in telling Charles and Amanda who to vote off at the council. He instructed them to go for Louie. Why Louie? Because according to the metrosexual castaway, Louie was planning on voting off Cris. Not so true, and Cris knew it was a lie when Louie approached him and the two were able to talk.

It seems like either Vlad or Troy is going tomorrow night. And if what tonight's episode was leading us to guess is at all true, would Justine ever have a chance to win against either Vlad or Troy? Physically, I don't know. Let's just hope it's a mind game. I'm kinda sure Justine has a better chance with that.

SP: Palau - Justine Stays at Isla Purgatoryo

Amanda and Jef instantly liked the Koror camp. Nice "house," nice pot (since the Airai's has a crack already), and there's food. It might have helped also that Echo was so accomodating to the new Koror members and she made them feel so welcome.

Echo, though, told Suzuki about her doubts on Marvin's loyalty. She's actually worried about which side will Marvin give his trust to. Like, is Marvin still with her and Suzuki? Or is he now with the new Koror members cuz he's so getting along with them, especially with Jef.

In the Airai camp, though, despite having won the reward challenge, which had their tummies stuffed with fish balls, politics came in immediately after they arrived at the camp. Vlad and Troy were so intent on getting the trust of Louie and Charles, saying that before the regroup, Cris and Shaun were the ones planning things out for them and they were merely just in the background. But now, according to them, the table had been turned.

Meanwhile, Mika talked to the only other girl in Airai, Tara. Mika told the ex-Koror member how she feels about Troy and Vlad; that she'd be glad ifever the two would be eliminated soon.
SP: Palau's Justine via survivorphilippines.tv"
And speaking of elimination, Maya was officially out of the game in tonight's episode. That goes without saying that Justine won again in the face-off and got the chance to stay in Isla Purgatoryo for another 3 days.

SP: Palau - Regroup!

After Maya was voted off, the two tribes were gathered together to reshuffle. Too soon? You may think so but it's so in favor of Jef who's in danger to be voted off next should the old Airai tribe lost the immunity challenge.

The "reshuffle" was done by draw lots, so unlike the first time they were grouped into two tribes.

(The first time, they put Bolado and Carol as Airai and Koror respectively, the two alternately picked a castaway of their choice to become a tribe member. The chosen new tribe member will in turn choose another one from the unchosen pack to become the next member.)

Suzuki, Echo, and Marvin remained Koror members. They were joined by Sean, Jef, and Amanda.

On the other side, Charles, Louie, and Kara joined the original Airai members Troy, Cris, Vlad, and Mika.

The castaways were put to test right after the regroup via Reward Challenge, the prize of which are fishballs. The reward was won by Airai and with watery mouth, the Koror tribe had to watch the happy Airai tribe while devouring the fishballs.
Jef via survivorphilippines.tv
Jef felt disappointed of herself having had to go back to the beach and void her turn while in the middle of a swimming race. She wasted precious, precious time.

Tomorrow, the castaways will try to get alliances with their new tribe members. Justin and Maya will also compete against each other to determine who will remain in Isla Purgatoryo.

Will Justine have a winning streak? We'll find out tomorrow.
