Meg Imperial has been reported to have said that JM De Guzman is not her loss, thus, the speculations that the two of them have become a couple and broke up.
The "Moon of Desire" actress clarified the issue in an interview with Boy Abunda on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."
"Hindi po kawalan meaning, hindi naman po s'ya negative, e. I mean lang naman na before pa s'ya pumasok sa life ko buo na po ako, e. So nung nawala s'ya buo pa rin naman ako, e. So hindi kawalan," Meg explained.
She also said that they were never a couple, but when asked if JM courted her, she answered, "Siguro masasabing parang gano'n po."
Did the courtship stop because of the actor's rekindled romance with Jessy Mendiola?
"Hindi naman po maybe because ano, not because with Jessy, pero siguro hindi rin talaga nag-swak yung ano… feeling ko meron pa rin naman past…" she answered.
And when she chanced upon Jessy and JM at the Philippine concert of Katy Perry, she described the meeting as awkward.
"Awkward at first kasi that was the first time na nakita ko sila together so medyo awkward pero nagbatian naman po kami," she said, but added they had no actual conversation because the two were seated somewhere behind her.
Meanwhile, she said having a boyfriend is the least of her priorities right now.
"Ako po 'yung breadwinner sa family so work po muna."
