After Piolo told the whole world over The Buzz two Sundays ago that he and KC Concepcion have been in a relationship since last year, the Ultimate Heartthrob and his “princess” became the talk of the town. It’s his first time to admit a relationship publicly, and if it had done anything to his career, it made him hotter than ever.

Dingdong Dantes looks hot despite being fully-clothed in this ad from Bench Summer 2011: Return to Temptation ad campaign. Looking like a real leading man, I just don’t get the blank, wide-eyed stare that he always makes whenever.
But that said, Dingdong Dantes is also hot, and quite re-invented in his new romantic comedy series on GMA-7, I Heart You Pare, with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. The show had a successful premiere last night and I must say thanks to this show for saving the primetime block (and that’s an early prediction) of the said tv network. (Machete is good enough but the acting of some of the actors get irritating at times.)
The Dingdong-Regine-starrer is fun to watch, and the acting of even the supporting cast is okay. I must say it’s so much better than Beauty Queen, the show it replaced on its timeslot.
What I’m also looking forward to in the series are its sing-and-dance production numbers which I’m sure won’t disappoint.
I Heart You Pare is on its second episode tonight after Machete. But if you happen to miss its first episode, you can watch it here.
MYX announced the nominees for this year’s MYX Music Awards (MMA) which will be held on March 15 at the Music Museum, Greenhills, San Juan City.
Nominees include Yeng Constantino, Sarah Geronimo, Christian Bautista, and Raymund Marasigan of Sandwich, among others.
Myx has also included a new category this year dedicated to the K-Pop fans. The Favorite K-Pop Video category has Beast, Ukiss, Super Junior, 2ne1, and Girls’ Generation battling for the award.
MYX channel head Andre Allan Alvarez says they included the K-Pop category because we cannot deny how popular it has become in our country these days.
Yeng Contantino is nominated in quite a number of awards including Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Artist, and Favorite Music Video. She even has two songs in the Favorite Song and Favorite Music Video categories – Jeepney Love Story (which also had Piolo Pascual nominated for the Favorite Guest Appearance in a Music Video award) and Kung Wala Na Nga where she is one of the featured artists by 6 Cycle Mind.
Sarah Geronimo dominated MMA last year. Will it be Yeng Constantino this time around?

Jake was last seen on the big screen via last year's Super Inday and the Golden Bibe where he played the role of Amazing Jay. On tv, he guested in Your Song Presents: Kim last month and is one of the main characters in ABS-CBN's upcoming primetime drama, Green Rose.

Charice, after filming her Valentine special for GMA-7, reportedly went back to Los Angeles last Wednesday to shoot with the Glee cast for the “Comeback” episode.
What’s more to be happy about is that we don’t have to wait that long for the episode to come out because it is said to air on February 15th.
Remember Harry Shum Jr. talking about Charice’s return to Glee and about Justin Bieber not guesting on the show anytime soon? We should have seen the connection, really, cuz the episode that will mark Charice’s return on the show will feature some Justin Bieber songs!
Meanwhile, other songs in the episode will come from the musical Rent and I can almost see the New Directions performing Seasons of Love. LoL!
No big ballads for Charice? It’s okay as long as we see her back on the show soon. Or are we in for more surprises?
Before the Glee episode on Feb. 15th, though, you can catch Charice on GMA-7 for her Valentine special called Charice: Home For Valentine’s.
Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson have started filming their first movie together as love teams. Despite both having blockbuster movies under their belts, the two are still nervous as to how the public will accept their team-up.
Dubbed as the Action-Drama Prince, Gerald started his showbiz career with Kim Chiu as his onscreen partner. Their tandem instantly clicked with the fans which eventually came to be called the Kimeralds. The Kimeralds all over the country have supported their shows, whether it be on television or in the movies.
Sarah, on the other hand, had been partnered with John Lloyd Cruz in two movies that were both blockbusters – A Very Special Love and its sequel, You Changed My Life. Sarah has a strong fan base and John Lloyd, being a whole and multitalented actor has a strong following spanning all age groups. The two movies they did actually received some bashing from film critics due to its shallow story line so we can guess they became blockbusters because their individual fans wanted it to become blockbusters (not to mention how a lot of moviegoers still go for the formulaic kilig movie sans good plot).
The Pop Star Princess is said to be worried how the Kimeralds will accept her as Gerald’s current love team. And with it goes the question of will the Kimeralds support the movie they’re doing together.
Well, I guess Sarah’s fans will watch her movies no matter who she is paired with. With regards to the Kimeralds, Gerald says they are still supportive so we can guess at least half of them will watch the Sarah-Gerald starrer when it comes out.
Meanwhile, Gerald and Kim were reunited yesterday in Your Song Presents: Kim. I’m sure the Kimeralds watched it because it was one of the rare chance that we’d get to see the two together in a soap as Gerald is now paired with Jewel Mische in Bagwis.
