Paris Hilton Leaves Manila in a Pacquiao Shirt

After almost four days, Paris Hilton already left Manila Thursday night, August 18th. She was wearing a Manny Pacquiao shirt while generously waving at her Pinoy fans and answering questions from the media.

Paris expressed how she likes Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao and the Philippines in general. "I love the Philippines," the American socialite told GMA-7's 24 Oras. "The Filipino people are amazing. I've had such a great time here. I love it. I can't wait to come back."

Paris Hilton would surely be back especially that she has business ventures here. Aside from endorsing and designing The Azure's Paris Beach Club, she also opened her fourth boutique here in the Philippines at SM Megamall last Thursday. She herself cut the ribbon at the store opening the afternoon before she left.

Paris Hilton Dines With the Pacquiaos

As reported earlier, the American socialite and hotel heiress was hoping to meet boxer and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee while she's here in the Philippines. She first met the couple last May in the US.

And just recently, Pacman had dinner with Paris Hilton. He was accompanied by wife Jinkee, Ilocos Sur Governor Luis Singson, and an entourage including the young Kapuso teen star Enzo Pineda and his mom and dad Eric Pineda, who is Pacman's business manager.

In an interview at the House of Representatives this afternoon, Pacman said he will discuss with Paris a possible business venture and will encourage her to do charity works. Details about the business venture, though, weren't divulged further but the boxer promised to eventually inform the media about it.

Paris Hilton To Have Meet and Greet Session With Fans on August 18

Paris Hilton will open her 4th boutique in the Philippines on Thursday and will hold a meet and greet session with her fans afterwards. Fans who purchase a handbag from Paris Hilton Handbags & Accessories store from today up until August 18 will be given a pass to the event that will happen at 4 PM on August 18.

Paris Hilton Handbags & Accessories already has branches in Resorts World Manila (Pasay City), Robinsons Place-Ermita (Manila), and Abreeza Mall-Davao (Davao City).

Aside from the opening of the boutique, the American socialite who arrived Sunday night (Manila time) also did a shoot for an ad of The Azure's Paris Beach Club, a clubhouse with a resort-inspired theme that Paris Hilton herself would help design. Azure Urban Resort Residences is developed by Century Properties.

Georgina Wilson Gets Criticized for Bashing Paris Hilton's "Courtesy Call" to PNoy

Model Georgina Wilson who became close to the hearts of Filipinos with her stint as judge on ABS-CB's Showtime has recently created a buzz with her tweets regarding the socialite and hotel heiress Paris Hilton and PNoy.

Paris arrived in the Philippines last night (RELATED STORY) and it had been said that she would be paying President Noynoy Aquino a courtesy call at Malacañang. Amidst the media hype over the socialite, Georgina took to Twitter and posted:

"why is PNOY taking time out of his "busy" schedule to meet with Paris Hilton tomorrow. So shameful that he doesn't have better things to do."

It was the tweet that received some bashing. Many said Georgina was just insecure, or was just bitter because she wouldn't have a chance to meet Paris.

After all the negative comments, though, Georgina seemed to keep her cool and explained herself via this tweet:

"I dnt mean to offend anyone or be negative I jst think that Paris Hilton isnt important enough for a president to meet up with.night guys :)"

And this morning, despite the still ongoing negative campaign against her by some, Georgina tweeted a positive message that was actually a comment on ANC's tweet regarding the president not meeting the socialite. Georgina's tweet read:

"go PNOY! :) smart decision :) RT @ANCALERTS: RT @Abi_Valte: President Aquino is NOT meeting Paris Hilton. NO courtesy call."

It was eventually learned that the said courtesy call was just a speculation of some. In a radio interview, Abigail Valte (Deputy Presidential Spokesperson) said that they weren't advised of any courtesy call.

Paris Hilton Arrives in Manila

Paris Hilton is in Manila! The American socialite arrived around 11:20 PM of August 14, 2011 (Manila time) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

Paris Hilton is said to have lost 2 iPhones iPads on her flight to Manila, reason why it took her long to get to the lobby of NAIA 1.

And to confirm that she's really here, the yellow-clad socialite took to Twitter saying:

"Mabuhay Philippines! I just arrived, thousands of fans waiting at the airport when I walked in. I feel so welcomed here! Mahal ko kayo! :)"

Now isn't that sweet?

She was tired, though, and opted to rest at a Makati hotel before anything else. By the way, she's here to visit the Pacquiaos.

I wonder what's in her itinerary. Will keep you posted.

Update: In a recent Tweet by @harold_geronimo, Paris Hilton's iPads were already "returned to her, items left on her seat, not clear whether plane seat or terminal seat in Dubai."
