Shot on location in Seoul, Korea, “Seoul Mates” is a funny love story about a 30-year old Filipino transgender woman Alice (Mimi Juareza) and a 25-year old Korean musician Joon. Both are heartbroken when their souls fatedly cross paths and they decided to team-up to get their exes back.
“Seoul Mates” is a full-length feature of Nash Ang, a Filipino filmmaker based in Seoul where he is currently pursuing his Masters in Filmmaking major in Directing at the Korea National University of Arts. He is also a recipient of the 2011 Ani ng Dangal for Cinema recognition from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
