Drake leads the 2016 American Music Awards nominations with 13 nods, as revealed . He broke the record of Michael Jackson who previously held the most number of nominations (11) from 1984.
Drake's nominations include Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist (Pop/Rock), and Favorite Rap Artist, among others. His hit "Hotline Bling" is also nominated for Favorite Song (Rap/Hip-Hop).
Michael Jackson's new album, Immortal, is set for release November 21, 2011. It is the soundtrack for The Immortal World Tour by Cirque Du Soleil and includes remixes and mashups of Michael's greatest original recordings as you've never heard them before.
The album is arranged by esteemed musical designer Kevin Antunes. Kevin has already worked with the likes of Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Madonna. He arranged the music in such a way that we'd hear Michael Jackson's stomping while recording the songs, and in a way that would give us goose bumps.

A 12-person jury has been selected to hear the manslaughter trial of Conrad Murray, the doctor of Michael Jackson who is believed to have caused the singer's death by giving him propofol (as well as other drugs) as sleep aid and not properly monitoring him.
The jury is composed of seven men and five women, half of whom are Caucasian, five are Hispanic, and one is an African American. Professions of the twelve are wide ranged which includes a bookseller, paralegal and professor, bus driver, and juror.
The twelve were narrowed down from 370 potential jurors who completed a 30-page questionnaire earlier this month.
Murray's attorneys are expected to say that Michael Jackson, who died on June 25, 2009, administered a fatal dose himself while the doctor was out of the room.
Everyone of the 12-person jury, though, is aware of the case against Murray and the late King of Poop. Murray's defense team noted that this can make it difficult to grant the doctor a fair trial.
If convicted, Murray faces a maximum sentence of four years in prison.
