The American pop rock band Train is flying to Manila for a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 7, 2011!
Train is currently composed of Patrick Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (guitar, vocals) and Scott Underwood (drums, percussion). It is the band behind the hits Meet Virginia, Drops of Jupiter and Hey, Soul Sister.
The band have been in the music scene since 1994 but only became widely popular with the release of Drops of Jupiter, the song that gave them their first two Grammy awards in 2002 for Best Rock Song and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s).
Drops of Jupiter is still my personal favorite up until now. The story behind the song doesn't fail to get me teary-eyed each time.
