Czarina Gatbonton Hopes to Win "Beauty with a Purpose" Fast-Track Event

Czarina Gatbonton, the Philippine representative to the Miss World 2010 pageant is hoping to win the "Beauty with a Purpose" fast-track event to be able to secure a sure spot in the pageant's Top 25.

Here's her entry:

"Beach Beauty," the first of the 5 fast-track events, was won by Ms. Puerto Rico Yara Liz Santiago. She bested the other contestants who were first narrowed down 40, then to 20, and eventually, to the top 5.

In the top 5 of the "Beach Beauty" fast-track event were China, United States, Norway, French Polynesia, and Puerto Rico.

Miss World 2010, the 60th pageant, will be held on October 30, 2010 in Sanya, People's Republic of China.
