Ramielle Malubay, the Filipino-American singer who made it to the Top 12 of American Idol 7, is going to have a concert in the Philippines with Ogie Alcasid. Ogie Sings with the Idols is going to be held on December 20 and 21 at the Aliw Theater. Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina and semi-finalist Robby Navarro are also two of the guests.Some reports say that Danny Noriega, AI7 Top 24 and Ramielle's BFF, will also visit the Philippines with the 4'11" singer to also be part of the concert.
The two are actually rumored not to be BFF's anymore but Ramiele denied it in her interview with accesshollywood. She said, "That is so not true. He is kind of busy right now and I am busy as well. I talk to him whenever I get the chance. We will text every once in awhile but it’s not like all the time like it used to be. We are going to the Philippines together in December. We are going to do a concert together."
