Rachelle Ann Go to play Fantine in Les Misérables

Rachelle Ann Go has just made her final appearance as Gigi in Miss Saigon a couple of nights ago, but theater fans will not miss her that long as she will soon be seen in Les Misérables.

Rachelle Ann Go joins Les Miserables as Fantine

Rachelle Ann was introduced on the musical's Twitter page as the new Fantine starting June 15, 2015.

"Introducing our NEW Fantine, @gorachelleann joining the cast of #LesMiz30 from 15 June 2015," the caption for Rachelle Ann's photo reads.

In a news article posted on lesmis.com/uk, the Filipina singer-actress is described as:

Rachelle Ann Go has just finished playing the role of ‘Gigi’ in Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of “Miss Saigon” at the Prince Edward Theatre for which she won the Whatsonstage Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. She is a well-known TV star in her native country, the Philippines having won the “Search for a Star” contest. Rachelle is also a double-platinum recording artist.
