Richard Hardin & Richard Herrera Win TARA 4!
The Riches did it!
Finally, a Philippine team ranked first in AXN’s The Amazing Race Asia. Richard Hardin and Richard Herrera, one of the two teams from the Philippines this season, emerged as winners in the 10th and final leg of the race.
We were so proud of Mark Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez when they placed third in season 2. We were prouder when Tisha Silang and Geoff Rodriguez finished second in season 3. But we’re now at our proudest because The Riches didn’t fail to bring home the bacon!
Congratulations, you two!

2 Philippine Teams on The Amazing Race Asia 4
The Amazing Race Asia, on its fourth season, will have 2 teams from the Philippines:
1. Australian-born and bred bestfriends dubbed as the Party Girls, tattooist Jacinta James (Jess), 27, and model Lani Pillinger, 27, both “love their adrenaline sports, from jet skiing to sky jumping. The latter was particularly tough for Lani, who took three hours to get over her fear of heights before she finally jumped.”
2. Pro Basketballer Richard Hardin, 34, and actor Richard Herrera, 31, are dubbed as Friends even if they always try to outdo each other be it in sports or dance offs.
Speaking of TARA, Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown castaway Aubrey Miles was also a TARA contestant in its first season, paired with her best friend Jacqueline Yu. Unluckily, they were the second to be eliminated. First, though, was also the other Philippine team of Ernie and Jeena.
In Season 2, however, the Philippine team of Mark Nelson and Rowilson Fernandez placed third.
And in the last season, Tisha Silang and Geoff Rodriguez got the highest rank the Philippines ever got in the 3-year-old history of TARA - a 2nd place!
Will one of our two teams bag the top prize this time? Let’s all wait and find out.
