Cute Boys in Undies for Bench Summer 2011

Cute boys get into their skimpiest clothing for the Bench Summer 2011: Return to Temptation campaign.

Jome Silayan, who is one of Marian Rivera’s leading men in the upcoming GMA-7 primetime series Amaya, is dashing in a yellow-and-green boxer briefs while sitting on a motor bike behind Paulo Avelino who is so boyishly sexy in red boxers with white lining. Paulo is currently one of the leads in GMA-7’s afternoon series Alakdana.

Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up runner-up Paul Jake Castillo is shirtless with a life buoy while inset is (again) Paulo Avelino in green briefs posing as a fisherman complete with a fishing net.

Meanwhile, Miko Raval, JayR, Ron Morales, and Franco Daza get all smiles in their undies showing off their hot bods.

[PBB Double Up] Melisa Cantiveros Wins!

21-year-old Melisa Cantiveros from General Santos City was Pinoy Big Brother Double Up's Big Winner. She got a total of 1,226,695 text votes or 32.08% of the total number of votes.

After 5 months of staying inside the PBB House, viewers got to love Melai's funny ways. Her typical story of coming from a poor family also captured the hearts of the show's audience.

Her prizes include a million pesos and a house and lot among others.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Cebuano businessman, Paul Jake Castillo won as the 2nd Big Placer. He got a total of 1,044,295 text votes or 27.31% of the total number of votes.

It can be noted that when the show revealed the Big 5's vote standing early this week, Paul Jake was the front-runner. Melisa was then running 2nd. The "reveal" most probably motivated Melisa's fans to vote more for her.

Garnering 954,961 text votes or 24.97% of the total number of votes, 22-year-old Boy Astig of Mindoro Jason Veron Francisco was the 3rd Big Placer.

Johan Morielle Santos, 22, was the Fourth Big Placer with just a little more votes than Tibo. He got 303,751 text votes or 7.94% of the total number of votes.

Fifth Big Placer was 34-year-old Steve "Tibo" Jumalon, who got a total of 294,161 text votes or 7.69% of the total number of votes.

[PBB Double Up] Paul Jake is Leading the Text Poll

Big Brother revealed to the remaining 5 housemates that no more eviction will happen until the Big Night, hence, they are now called the Big 5.

Aside from that revelation, Big Brother also let us have a peek at the standing of the 5 housemates in the text poll. I was expecting Melai to be the front-runner, but when she was announced third, I just knew Paul Jake was leading.

Paul Jake had 31%, Jason had 23%, Melai only had 20%, Johan had 13%, and Tibo had the lowest with 10%.

To celebrate their being included in the Big 5, my favorite band Kenyo was in the house to perform for them. Their first song: Pinoy Ako. And it's quite fun to watch the housemates dance to Pinoy Ako with the original dance choreography from the very first PBB.

[PBB Double Up] Roy!

Jason was able to finish walking 17 hours around the pool, but that's not without a night's rest.

Only Melai didn't know that her ex-boyfriend Roy was inside the PBB House to talk to her.

In a short interview with Toni Gonzaga, Roy said he loved Melai but the feeling was fading. He also admitted that he and Melai had already broken up before due to different reasons.

Jason himself blindfolded Melai and brought her to House B. And there, driving a sidecar, Roy surprised Melai. He even made Melai ride the sidecar and gave her his pasalubong of burger and fries.

Melai seemed mystified. Could it be that she's still in love with Roy?

What could happen if Melai chose Roy over Jason? If that happens, Jason walked 17 hours to his failure. LoL!

[PBB Double Up] Jason’s Sacrifice

If Jason couldn't say directly that he loves Melai before, it's kinda different now. The tricycle driver from Mindoro is now quite serious in wooing the English teacher from General Santos City. But he wants things clear between Melai and her ex-boyfriend named Roy.

Jason wants Melai and Roy to be able to talk so they can sort things out between them. From what Jason knows, there hadn't been any formal break-up between the two.

Big Brother decided to offer Jason a sacrifice in exchange for bringing Roy in the PBB House. And the sacrifice? Jason should walk for 1,053 minutes, the numbers symbolizing the number of kilometers between the PBB House and General Santos City.

It's more than 17 hours of walk around the pool for Jason, but he doesn't seem to mind the challenge. As he said before he started, "I'm doing this for the sake of love, and everything goes."

But the question is, will he be able to finish the 1,053 minutes of walking? We'll find out tonight.

[PBB Double Up] Goodbye Kath!

Kathleen Lopena-Ortega, popularly known as Mommy Kath, was evicted in tonight's live episode of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up.

She was welcomed to the "outside world" by her husband and ex-PBB Double Up housemate Jimson Ortega.

A big twist was announced after Kath's eviction, and it regarded the number of housemates that will compete in the Big Night. The originally final 4 housemates (dubbed as the Big 4) will now be 5!

So with only 6 housemates left, only one more will be evicted next Saturday.

Melai, on the other hand, can now breathe a little easier because she had earned a spot in the Big 5 through the series of competitions prepared by Big Brother.

But who among Tibo, Paul Jake, Johan, Mariel, and Jason will be evicted next week and not have a chance to be the Big Winner? Make sure to vote for your bets!

[PBB Double Up] Sharon Cuneta Visits

Waving a white flag ahead of her, the megastar Sharon Cuneta entered the PBB House to "bond" with the housemates. She came bearing a basketfull of food because she "heard" what the housemates were going through. Most importantly, the megastar's main goal was to tell the housemates not to lose hope.

Ex-housemate and part of the resbak team, Delio was having second thoughts on sabotaging the remaining housemates. He was touched mostly when Jason gave him some of his clothes.

The resbak team tried to hit the towers made of domino pieces at the center of the pool, but they were heavily guarded mostly by Tibo.

Tibo, Johan, Kath, and Hermes are nominated this week. Be sure to support your bets by voting for them or by voting against the housemates that you don't like.

[PBB Double Up] Cathy Remperas is Evicted

Cathy Remperas was booted out of the PBB House tonight after getting the lowest percentage of the combined evict and save votes. She got –13.54% and that means her haters are 13.54% more than those who love her.

Melai got the highest percentage of votes with 31.86% followed by Tibo who got 2.32%. Melai and Tibo were the only ones who got positive total scores. The three other nominees all got negative results - Mariel got -3.55% and Hermes got -10.43%.

Cathy didn't go out of the house yet, though. She just transferred to House B and was later joined by ex-housemates Princess, Delio, Tom, Yuri, Rob, Patrick, and Rica for the Resbak Attack.

Eight ex-housemates against the eight remaining housemates. As Rica said, they're prolly there to bring out the beauty or the beast in the remaining housemates.

[PBB Double Up] Jason Bonds with Big Utol

Big Utol wanted to bond with the housemates so he called them one at a time inside his confession room. His kind of bonding was, of course, different from what Big Brother might have thought of. And I think it's the first time it had been done in a confession room.

Jason was first called to "bond" with Big Utol and the bad boy from Mindoro was surprised to see a table full of pulutan and gin bulag (the term he used when he told about it to his fellow housemates later).

If there's one thing that came out as significant in Big Utol and Jason's bonding moment, it's the confession that Jason was really in love with Melissa. It wasn't directly said, though. It started when Big Utol told Jason how he didn't like it when he hit Melissa with the ball, and Jason explained that he wouldn't really hurt Melissa because "mahal ko 'yon" but immediately changed it to "mahalaga sa 'kin 'yon." Big Utol also noticed how Jason lacked diskarte when it comes to Melissa, and Jason replied with "mahina nga ako sa ganyan, ‘pag serious love."

Tomorrow's episode is about the other housemates's bonding moments with Big Utol. Don't forget to watch it right after Dahil May Isang Ikaw.

[PBB Double Up] Pee Where You Should

Oh lord what a baby!

For peeing on the wall of the PBB House, Paul Jake and Jason were punished by Big Utol, Big Brother's mean younger sibling who was taking over Big Brother's position while he's in the hospital.

As punishment, they were each given 3 pieces of diapers that they should use for 2 straight days. Not only that, a 3.5 liter of water was given to each of them. They should drink it all and bring the container wherever they go.

Melissa found the diaper-clad Jason so funny that she made fun of him despite his warning. As a result, he kicked a ball at her and it hit Melissa hard on the upper chest. The suspected ADHD housemate cried but after a while, acted as if nothing happened.

Jason, however, didn't follow the instructions given to them by Big Utol. He wore an underwear inside the diaper and it made Big Utol even madder.

Good thing Jason wasn't given an additional punishment for that.

[PBB Double Up] Big Tol

Since Big Brother is sick, he is temporarily replaced by his brother who is called Big Tol. "Tol" is a shortened "utol," which is a Tagalog slang for brother.

Unlike Big Brother who speaks politely and in a very professional manner, Big Tol speaks like a kanto boy. Very much like Jason, actually, that when he first greeted the housemates, they thought it was Jason.

Of course we know there is no sick Big Brother and that it's all a test. From what I can see, Big Tol's purpose is to make the housemates overcome their fear.

For one, there was a cockroach included in one of the crumpled papers, among which Paul Jake would have to find the Task Letter. Paul Jake fears cockroaches, but Big Tol even commanded the poor housemate to get the cockroach and show it to him. Such ass.

Not only that, Big Tol also commanded Sam to spill water on Cathy's face just because Cathy is taking a nap. And Cathy, fearing snakes, was given a plastic container with a snake inside. She had to hold it for a full 24 hours.

I don't wanna call them tasks, but the pranks on other housemates will be shown tomorrow.

[PBB Double Up] Sam, Jason, and Johan are Nominated

Jason was the kulelat during the Head of Household challenge so he was given the choice of either being automatically nominated or to give 3 points against one housemate of his choice. His kind heart ruled over his judgments so he chose to just automatically nominate himself.

On the other hand, Sam got the highest votes among the housemates with 7, while Johan got the next highest votes with 6. Last week, Sam and Johan were also among the nominated with Paul Jake and the recently evicted, Rica Paras. According to yesterday's eviction results, Sam got the highest viewers' votes and Johan got in second.

But now that they are joined by Jason of the already famous Melason tandem, will they have a chance to win?

Here's how the recent nomination turned out:

PBB Double Up - People Evicted Yuri Okawa

It wasn't surprising at all that people voted against Yuri Okawa with a passion. Yeah, only those like her will like her (read: Mariel).

Yuri got 26.52% of votes. It was the highest, so there she goes. I was actually kinda hoping it was Hermes but oh well, he still needs to give Carol some more heartaches until the Bible-reading men-loving teacher lose her sanity.

I thought everyone loves Melissa and that she'd end up with no or least votes. But she ranked #11 with 1.08%. It was Johan who got the least number of votes with 0.32%. I believed Toni Gonzaga was right. Most of the viewers just didn't know Johan was there so they didn't vote for him. Same goes for Paul Jake =)

Anyway, Mariel was Yuri's runner-up with 22.94%, followed by Carol with 17.25%. To think that Carol had always been saved from eviction with high votes from her supporters.

Hermes got 9.80%. It wouldn't really hurt if he went instead of Yuri. But oh well, just like I've said, he still has a purpose.

Tonight's ranking (vote to evict):
1. Yuri - 26.52%
2. Mariel - 22.94%
3. Carol - 17.25%
4. Hermes - 9.80%
5. Rocky - 7.01%
6. Sam - 4.67%
7. Patrick - 3.90%
8. Rica - 1.60%
9. Cathy - 1.58%
10. Kath - 1.52%
11. Melissa - 1.08%
12. Tibo - 0.74%
13. Jason - 0.60%
14. Paul Jake - 0.46%
15. Johan - 0.32%

PBB Double Up – There Goes Rob

Rob got the boot. Thanks God it's neither Jason, Carol, nor Rica. I wanted Rob or Patrick out just to give justice to what they did to Rica.

And Rocky said he called Rica a "sheman" because he's already so comfortable with the girls? Oh c'mon. Then why did he say that when only the boys could hear?

I don't know but this "getting comfortable" thing isn't selling. If they're really just "already comfortable" with the girls, then they would have said all those things they talked about in private in front of the girls.

But wow! Rica got a whooping 38.55% followed by Jason with 35.81%. Carol also got a high percentage of votes (15.11%) compared to Patrick with only 6.21% and the evictee, Rob, with only 4.32%.

Seems like the televiewers don't give their votes to just looks anymore. Good thing. Cuz I'm really going for either Melay or Jason =)

PBB Double Up: Goodbye Patria

Riza Mae Patria got the lowest number of text votes in last night's elimination with 7.40%. On the other hand, Carol garnered the highest percentage of 69.51%. Rob and Yuri were safe with 11.74% and 11.35% respectively.

From the PBB site:
"Patria is said to be House B’s answer to the talkative and funny Melisa Cantiveros of House A. Patria left her family and friends in Siquijor to join PBB in hopes of winning the top prize. Despite her loss, Patria left the house rich in experiences and new friends. She was fetched from the house by her best friend and was welcomed by other ex-housemates. Patria said that she will miss everything inside Kuya’s house, but she remains positive that things will still turn out for the best for her here in the outside world."

The housemates will again give points of nomination tonight. One from House B (who won in the weekly task) will be in danger of being eliminated, while three housemates from House A (who lost in the weekly task) will be included in the text polls.

It's also tonight the the said Big Storm will be revealed.

Meanwhile, House A's Melissa and Jason will be on ASAP 09 later alongside ex-housemates Tom Mott and Princess Manzon.

PBB Double Up: Rocky Salumbides Enters the House

Tom Mott got the forced boot last Saturday due to some violations of the house rule. Prior to that, female housemate Yhel also received the same fate. So they're now being replaced with Rocky Salumbides (aka the current boyfriend of the award-winning actress Eula Valdez) and a certain Sam Pinto.

We know Rocky for his modeling stints abroad.

He actually won the Best Male Model of the World 2004 in Istanbul and it paved the way for international opportunities.

He was a featured Cosmo Hunk in 2008 and almost always on the catwalk of big fashion events (read: underwear shows) here in the country.

PBB Double Up - Delio Goes Bye-Bye

Delio Dimaculangan got booted out of the Pinoy Big Brother house last night for getting the lowest number of text votes from the viewers. The Batangueno chef only got 5.43% of the total text votes, the lowest among the five nominees.

Jason Francisco, the shy bad-boy from Mindoro, was the most popular with 51.42% of votes. He endeared the hearts of the viewers with his frequent funny moments with Melissa.

Tom Mott ranked 3rd with his 22.78%. Patrick Villanueva got 14.23% and Mariel Sorino almost got booted out with her 6.40%.

PBB Double Up - Force Eviction

The new girls of House A was given a chance to have another male housemate from the other house. The chance was given to them to even out gender distribution in their house. It can be noted that they're mostly girls in House A, and that is why Kuya was so keen on putting another male in House A.

The thing was, the girls had to kiss the House B male housemate that they want on the forehead while he was sleeping. And of course he shouldn't see them or know what they were doing while they were putting on those 2 kissmarks.

They're choice was Paul Jake, and based on the rating they gave the male housemates in the adjoining house, their least preferred male housemate in House B was Rob.

It seemed that Paul Jake was a light sleeper, and the girls weren't able to put on him those kissmarks. As a result, they got their least preferred - Rob.

The new House B, likewise, got to choose between Carol and Yhel because majority of House B were men.

House B chose Carol! She was so sad, though, because she would miss Hermes and also, she never got to tell him she was sorry for calling him a flirt.

----------

A mock interview was also done to choose who among them would be sent to one of the five other Big Brother shows that were currently airing in different countries.

But of course, the housemates thought it was the real thing so they prepared hard - outfit and all - for the event.

----------

To cap the night, the first housemate to be force evicted was confirmed. Yhel was yet again found guilty of talking about the nominations despite the fact that she's always being reminded (and punished) for that.
