PBB Teen Finals Night

Ejay Falcon wins followed by Robi Domingo, Nicole and Beauty in that order. My niece and I were cheering for Robi (at home ha, not in Araneta), and the crowd's cheer everytime Toni Gonzaga talked to Robi was louder than the times that she talked to Ejay. Less than 2% lang ang lamang ni Ejay kay Robi. Sayang. I should have voted, it might have helped.

Ejay had that usual "parang mahihimatay" expression almost all throughout the show. But the worst was when he was declared the winner. His surprised/excited expressions are really awkward. Really awkward I turn my eyes away from the tv. Reminds me of David Archuleta's expressions everytime the judges of American Idol praised his performance. But David's was better compared to Ejay.

Pero buti na lang hindi si Beauty ang nanalo, just like how the majority of the big 4 predicted. And buti na rin hindi si Nicole.

At buti na lang din (again) PBB makes it the last 4 contestants. Imagine if it's just the Big 2, and Ejay and Robi were the only ones left inside the house. Hahaha. They're sooo opposites. I doubt if there would be any real exchange of conversations between the two.

Congrats to Ejay, anyway. He needs the money more than Robi. Pero sayang. Robi is more of a teen role model than Ejay.

Goodbye, Alex...

It seems that my favorites among these text-votes-related reality shows are being evicted. Okay, perhaps I have such a different taste in people. Like I choose Alex over Ejay, and Alex got evicted. Also, Regene Ong was my favorite among the Pinoy Idol contestants, and she got booted out last Sunday! Oh well, I'm sure Regene has a place in showbusiness. With her fashion sense, I'm kinda sure she has other "artsy" talents besides singing (if she won't click on singing, i.e.)

Well, Alex has a following, too. What with his hunky appeal... and the buzz he stirred when he decided to be circumcised inside the PBB house. But I don't know... I don't think we'd still see him around after, say, 5 years from now.

I don't like Ejay. Nagpapaawa. Si Robbie na lang ang bet ko. I also don't like Nicole and Beauty. Both bitchy.

Kung sino pa 'yong mga housemates na parehong matino at matalino, sila pang dalawa ang mga tanging nominado ngayong linggo. Sana man lang naging tatlo ang nominated para pareho silang may chance na mag-stay. I voted for Rona. Pero sa palagay ko si Robi ang mag-i-stay. Mas marami kasi sa voters ang mga babae (at bading). S'yempre si Robi ang mas matimbang sa mga puso nila. Pero sana mag-stay pa rin si Rona.

Si Beauty, nakakatuwa... Pinipilit mag-Ingles kahit balubaluktot. Siguro hindi n'ya alam na mali ang pag-i-Ingles n'ya. Pwede naman kasing Tagalugin. Diretso naman s'yang managalog, e.

Si Nicole naman parang palaging inaantok... Sabagay, wala na kasi si Josef.

Rona is Saved

So PBB thought 6 straight nominations is enough and they had to boot Josef out of the house. I like Josef, but I don't like Nicole. It would have been better if Nicole had been the one evicted, though. But either of the two is good enough. It would put a stop to the irritating sight of a "shy kuno" girl flirting her hea(r)t out.

I hope everyone would nominate Nicole for this reason: kailangan na niyang lumabas dahil nasa labas na si Josef. Haha.

Good thing the girl with the leadership ability, and one of the few who has brain, was saved. Cheers for Rona.

PBB Graduation

So Robi, Rona and Jieriel had their "graduation" inside the PBB house... Hmm... Yeah, at least they were able to wear their togas and march, but still, there's nothing compared to the real thing. They even had this speech equivalent to salutatory/valedictory address in a real graduation. One can so notice that only Robi wasn't so emotional. Two factors, actually, can be attributed to that. One, he's male. The male species is basically less emotional than the female species. Two, his family is better off compared to the other two. Those who have less in life experience more hardships, thus, making them more emotional. I am one of them. Huhu.

I like watching Ejay in shorts when he's in the confession room. It was supposed to be a sad moment last night. Darn, my attention was riveted to Ejay's crotch area haha. Lookie here...

I don't know but there's something about him... Yea, he's a probinsyano, alright... But Jieriel and Nan and some others are promdis, too. He's pretty goodlooking but really, he's a little "lame" for me. I don't think he's gonna get my vote.

New Dance Steps

There's a new dance for the old theme song of PBB Teen choreographed by Jolas, the tall teen from Bulacan. They are actually "partnered" since there are still 7 boys and 7 girls. I wonder how the dance would be if a boy/girl got evicted. Surely someone will dance without a partner. Anyway, Nan from Davao is so stringy I wonder if they kept him starved back in Davao. On the other hand, I like Josef's tummy. Is that shaved? Well it looked like shaved on the Uber episode this afternoon.

My dear Priscilla is having a crush on Ejay. Priscilla, btw, should be the one with the "bubbly" title - The Bubbly Deaf Girl (perhaps). Bubbly shouldn't have been Jieriel's title. I didn't see any "bubbly-ness" in her "Kilalanin Natin si Jieriel" video. Lots of drama, actually.

Just a mention of the surname will make you interested. No wonder Josef is so mestizo. This housemate will most likely have the most successful showbiz career after their PBB stint. The Fart Boy

I really think Alex Anselmuccio is just feeling pressured about the circumcision thingie that's why he wants to give it a try - the rest of the guys are cut; Filipino culture; and the show about being a true Filipino. Being uncut is no big deal, just like what the pediatric surgeon who talked to him said in the tv episode a while ago. But if you were a contestant in a reality show that's looking for a "true" Filipino teen, and Big Brother asked you if you wanted to be circumcised (which is a religious/cultural thing in the Philippines), would you likely say no?

The only thing that made me smile on tonight's episode was the "nagpasabog ng lagim" part. Josef? Fart boy? Haha. Hope it smells as good as he looks.

Jieriel proved to be sensitive, in contrast to the way she puts up a strong front. She cried when she wasn't able to dance right. Good thing she showed her sensitivity, at least people can see her other side. And love her for that.

Alex Getting Circumcised?

My favorite housemate, Alex, was sent to the confession room with Josef Elizalde (who's also beginning to be my favorite). Big Brother pushed on the issue of Alex being "supot". Oh well, publicity. I'm sure Alex is now more popular than the other housemates for being uncircumcised and he would be talked about more if he decided to get circumcised while still in the show - and for that, more publicity for PBB, too. Big Brother asked Alex if he wanted to be circumcised and the 18 year-old Italian said yes, because his brothers were also circumcised at 18 here in the Philippines. The big Q is, will he do it while inside the PBB house? Big Brother is giving Alex the time to decide.

On other notes, the BBF (Best Buds Forever) thingie is starting to fail. What with Big Brother's efforts to test Josef and Robbi? Some housemates are starting to get suspicious of the two. "Hindi synchronized" ang mga kwento nila, 'ika nga ni Jieriel. And Beauty noticed how fake the picture that Big Brother produced was. Oh, anyway, I hope they don't starve next week. Their weekly allowance is at stake with the BBF task.

If Alex decided to get circumcised, would it be aired live? Haha now that's something.

Priscilla Navidad is so much fun to watch. She's so natural. It seems that her disability doesn't affect her negatively at all. Quite surprising to know that she even won 1st runner up in the 2007 Miss Teen International pageant. I'm sure the viewers, like me, loves this girl from Davao. PBB Teen Edition Plus

I decided to have this blog for the love of television - and that of PBB, most especially. I am not gonna write about every single one of the housemates, though, for writing about some of them would be just a waste of time. I'm gonna write about those that just interest me, post pics of them, and make some commentaries as I view them from the local tv.

So there's fourteen (14) of them. And let's face it, all these "teens" want to make it into the show business big time. But just how many among them have the potential to be the next Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu? Well, I have the next Gerald Andersons but I can't see another Kim Chiu just yet. How about the next hunk? Omigawd I see two of them. Haha.

First off, let's start with Alex Anselmuccio.

This Italian Valentino is your typical naughty teen. You can see the mischief in his eyes and in his smile. And you can tell he knows he is good-looking, and most of all, he knows how to use his looks and his charm. His being supot (uncut) - a revelation in last night's episode - just adds to his hunky appeal. I know it's too early to tell but I don't think he's gonna make it all the way up, perhaps among the last to leave before the big four, but he will definitely have a good career in the local showbiz after.
