Than Perez wins Mister Grand Philippines 2024

Mister Grand Philippines 2024 crowned its new kings early morning of November 14, with Jonathan "Than" Perez of Bulacan Province winning the main title.

Than Perez was actually my top favorite, along with Mark Joseph Malonzo Macalintal, who was named Mister Grand Philippines Heritage.

They were the only ones from my list that got in the Top 7.

Mister Grand Philippines 2024 moved to November 13

Mister Grand Philippines 2024 was supposed to have its finals last September 25. Due to Typhoon Kristine, however, it has been moved to November 13 (Wednesday) at the Metrotent Convention Center.

The delay have surely allowed the contestants more time to prepare for the pageant physically and emotionally.

Some took the opportunity to strengthen their fan base and gather more online votes, which is evident in the recent rankings.

Anyway, my favorites for the Mister Grand Philippines 2024 title(s) have also slightly changed.

Mister Grand Philippines 2024 coronation night to be rescheduled due to typhoon

Mister Grand Philippines 2024 has just announced that due to Typhoon Kristine, the much-awaited coronation night of the male pageant is not pushing through as scheduled on October 25th.

"In light of the impending threat posed by Typhoon Kristine, we regret to announce that the highly anticipated Mister Grand Philippines 2024 Finals Night has been rescheduled to a later date," the official statement posted on social media Wednesday morning read.

The statement further said that the safety and well-being of all involved is their utmost priority.

The organization is yet to announce the new date, but promised those who have already bought tickets for the Oct. 25 date that their tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled date and there's no need to exchange for a new one.

Furthermore, those who would like to cancel their tickets will be refunded "without any complications."
