Jessica Sanchez and fellow American Idol 11 top 10 DeAndre Brackensick are now officially a couple.
DeAndre confirmed the news on his Twitter account on Friday by posting that the Filipino-Mexican-American singer is his girlfriend.

AI 11: DeAndre Brackensick goes home
DeAndre Brackensick receivedthe least number of votes from among the 8 contestants after their performance of songs from the ‘80s last Wednesday.
DeAndre sang El DeBarge’s I Like It and was praised by the judges for using more of his natural voice and for being comfortable on stage. Those praises, however, weren’t enough to get him enough votes to stay.
He performed again to get the judges to save him but Jennifer Lopez revealed that it was only her who wanted to save the 17-year-old. It had to be a unanimous decision so DeAndre was sent packing.
Joining him at the bottom 3 were Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh, who was the first one among the 3 to be sent to the couch.

AI 11: DeAndre Brackensick sings “I Like It” at the top 8 performance show
DeAndre Brackensick chose DeBarge’s I Like It as his performance piece for American Idol 11’s top 8 performance show where they had to choose from the hit songs of the ‘80s.
The 17-year-old, who is known for his falsetto, was commended by Randy Jackson for using more of his natural voice. Steven Tyler described his performance as “totally captivating” and Jennifer Lopez said he sounded amazing and looked comfortable on the stage.
