Sofronio Vasquez wins The Voice Season 26

Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez was named the winner of The Voice season 26. The results show was held Wednesday morning (Manila time) and was aired live on NBC.


During the final performance show, the 32-year-old former contestant of It's Showtime's Tawag ng Tanghalan sang Unstoppable and A Million Dreams. It was described by many as a crowning performance.



Sofronio was part of Michael Bublés team. He was joined in the finals by his fellow Team Bublé member, Shye, who was named 1st runner-up.

Sydney Sterlace from Gwen Stefani's team was 2nd runner-up, Danny Joseph of Reba McEntire was 3rd runner-up, and Jeremy Beloate of Team Snoop Dogg was 4th runner-up.

During one of his interviews for The Voice, Sofronio mentioned that he went for an audition in The Voice Philippines in the past but nobody turned for him. We now know why that happened.
