Dustin Yu molested in MRT

The topic of sexual abuse has become more popular in the showbiz industry after Sandro Muhlach's revelation of his own experience during the after hours of the most recent GMA Gala.

At the height of the Sandro Muhlach against the GMA-7 independent contractors controversy, Gerald Santos seemed to have had a renewed spirit to fight for the molestation that hapened to him when he was a teenager. He even recently named his alleged molester.

Because of Gerald's namedropping the musical director, another singer named Enzo Almario also claimed that he was also abused by the same man when he was just 12 years old and was part of the group SugarPop.

Meanwhile, the most recent that came out in the entertainment news was Dustin Yu who revealed that he was also sexually abused in an MRT station before the pandemic.

According to the actor, he was "touched' by a man wearing a police uniform.

A lot really happens in crowded trains. Dustin was brave to speak up about his experience, even if people could easily blame him saying he could have made a scene to stop the perpetrator, or he could've just said no and walked away since there were people around.

But, of course, people react differently to specific situations. Some are aggressive and loud, while some just freeze without knowing what to do.

James Reid calls Jeffrey Oh a fraud

James Reid has finally spoken up about the controversies surrounding Careless, a company he founded in 2020.

Careless used to manage the showbiz career of Liza Soberano, and it was only recently that the company released a statement saying that the actress is no longer with them.

"It's her decision to leave," James said in an interview with Ogie Diaz. "Mas focused siya sa career niya sa L.A. and kami mas focused sa Philippines."

He only had good words for Liza, though, and added that "the Careless team is always here for her no matter what."

With regards to Jeffrey Oh, James' legal counsel (who was with him during the interview) said that Jeffrey Oh has more than a hundred million peso past obligations to Careless when the lawyer first studied the case.

They advised Oh to stop transacting in behalf of Careless while still trying to fix his obligations but he again made a number of new transactions using the said company plus a couple more companies owned by James.

"I had no idea a lot of this was happening," James said when asked where he was when this was happening. "He had kept me separate from the rest of my team, kept me in the dark about all of these business dealings."

"He tricked me," James added. "I've been working with him for a very long time and it turns out he wasn't the person who he said he was."

When asked how much in total does Jeffrey Oh owes him, he said, "More than a hundred million is to me personally, and then there's more for other companies."

He also ended up spending a lot of money for the controversial Wavy Baby Music Festival in Cebu, an event that Jeffrey Oh was in charge.

"Once again [he] kept me in the dark about all of the situation of the music festival, of all the sponsors, and I didn't find out until only 2 days before the concert that he didn't actually close any of the sponsors, so I ended up funding almost the entire thing, to which he promised to pay me back, which never happened," he narrated.

He said it was the most stressful moment of his business career.

It was a lesson learned the hard way, though, but he was grateful that Jeffrey Oh is not with his company anymore.

They had to officially terminate him last July to cut his connection with his company.

"At the end of the day, I think his true colors showed, and that he's a fraud," James said.
