Jona Soquite of Team Sarah was named the first-ever grand champion of The Voice Teens Philippines during the grand finale that was held on Sunday, July 30, 2017, live from the ABS-CBN studios.
Jona impressed the viewers of the show with her singing abilities from two-part grand finals, besting the classical singer Mica Becerro (FamiLea), Isabela Vinzon (Kamp Kawayan), and Jeremy Glinoga (Team Sharon). She got the highest combined text and online votes of 44.78% from the Saturday and Sunday polls.
