ABS-CBN's afternoon soaps "Doble Kara" and "Tubig at Langis" won in their timeslots on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 16-17, 2016, beating their rival programs on GMA-7.
"Doble Kara" starring Julia Montes got 18.1% and 17.2% on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, versus "Sinungaling Mong Puso's" 11.3% and 11.4%.
"Tubig at Langis," meanwhile, got 16.4% and 16.8%, winning against "Sa Piling ni Nanay's" 10.8% and 11.1%.
