Glee Gets Gayer

Guess who's guesting in our favorite show Glee. It's our favorite gay guy Neil Patrick Harris! E! Online reports that he has already signed a contract to do a guest spot later this spring and he's playing a villain!

Can't wait. It was earlier reported that Molly Shannon will join the hit tv series. Now how much fun-ner it would be now that Neil Patrick will also be on the show?

Watch: "We are the World 25 for Haiti" MV

25 years after We are the World was first recorded, another tragedy paved the way for the said 80's hit to be recorded again.

Big stars like Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban, Miley Cyrus, Fergie, Janet Jackson, etc. It was quite touching how they inserted Michael Jackson's part from the original video. It actually gave me goosebumps.

But there's nothing more pure than the voice of a child, the reason why I almost cried when Justin Bieber opened the song with his crystal clear, angelic voice.

We are the World 25 for Haiti was recorded February 1, 2010 at the Henson Recording Studios (formerly A&M Recording Studios) where the original We are the World was recorded 25 years ago.

Music video below.

[PBB Double Up] Melisa Cantiveros Wins!

21-year-old Melisa Cantiveros from General Santos City was Pinoy Big Brother Double Up's Big Winner. She got a total of 1,226,695 text votes or 32.08% of the total number of votes.

After 5 months of staying inside the PBB House, viewers got to love Melai's funny ways. Her typical story of coming from a poor family also captured the hearts of the show's audience.

Her prizes include a million pesos and a house and lot among others.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Cebuano businessman, Paul Jake Castillo won as the 2nd Big Placer. He got a total of 1,044,295 text votes or 27.31% of the total number of votes.

It can be noted that when the show revealed the Big 5's vote standing early this week, Paul Jake was the front-runner. Melisa was then running 2nd. The "reveal" most probably motivated Melisa's fans to vote more for her.

Garnering 954,961 text votes or 24.97% of the total number of votes, 22-year-old Boy Astig of Mindoro Jason Veron Francisco was the 3rd Big Placer.

Johan Morielle Santos, 22, was the Fourth Big Placer with just a little more votes than Tibo. He got 303,751 text votes or 7.94% of the total number of votes.

Fifth Big Placer was 34-year-old Steve "Tibo" Jumalon, who got a total of 294,161 text votes or 7.69% of the total number of votes.

Jinkee Pacquiao Arrives in L.A.

Jinkee Pacquiao is now in L.A. to join husband Manny Pacquiao in time for Valentine's Day. Jinkee says Manny is gonna have a Valentine Fans' Day in L.A. and she's there to help out, afterwhich they would have dinner together.

Jinkee also reveals that she has brought with her a especially-made necklace with a diamond-studded letter "M" for a pendant that is to be her Valentine gift to Manny. But before that, she has a "pasalubong" to her husband - a tabloid containing "tsismis" about the boxing champ.

And about the talks surfacing that Krista has met up with Manny in LA, Jinkee says she and her husband just laugh it off. But still, Manny is threatening to file a case against those making up these tsismis. Likewise, Jinkee is daring them to show proof of these rumors.

Angel Locsin is Now Under Ethel Ramos

After rumors surfaced that `Angel Locsin has already left her long-time manager Becky Aguila, the name of Boy Abunda also popped up. But now it can be told that it's not Boy Abunda but Ethel Ramos who Angel Locsin has chosen to manage her career.

Ethel Ramos is also the manager of Aga Muhlach, so I think we can also count on an Angel-Aga movie in the near future.

But what could have been the reason behind Angel's leaving Becky Aguila? I'm sure Angel has a good explanation to it.

Let's Watch Alice in Wonderland!

I'm quite excited to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. First, because Alice is one of my favorite fictional characters as a kid. Second, because Anne Hathaway is so beautiful as the White Queen. And third, because I love Johnny Depp.

I first wrote that it's showing April 5th. But no, it's gonna begin showing March 3rd pala. It varies on where you are. But the Philippines is not on the list. I'm sure though that it will be around the date of its US showing.

Molly Shannon to Join "Glee"

SNL veteran Molly Shannon, is joining the cast of my favorite show, Glee, to be Sue Sylvester's nemesis! Sounds exciting, right? Now Sue has a match!

Molly's first episode will be shown in May. Her character, Brenda Castle, is an astronomy teacher and a badminton coach. But not only that, Brenda is also an alcoholic and a pill-popper!

Now, imagine what riot she'd bring at McKinley High School.

[PBB Double Up] Paul Jake is Leading the Text Poll

Big Brother revealed to the remaining 5 housemates that no more eviction will happen until the Big Night, hence, they are now called the Big 5.

Aside from that revelation, Big Brother also let us have a peek at the standing of the 5 housemates in the text poll. I was expecting Melai to be the front-runner, but when she was announced third, I just knew Paul Jake was leading.

Paul Jake had 31%, Jason had 23%, Melai only had 20%, Johan had 13%, and Tibo had the lowest with 10%.

To celebrate their being included in the Big 5, my favorite band Kenyo was in the house to perform for them. Their first song: Pinoy Ako. And it's quite fun to watch the housemates dance to Pinoy Ako with the original dance choreography from the very first PBB.

"Diz Is It" Made to Rival "Showtime!"

Weeks after SIS was brought off-air, GMA-7 is now ready with its own talent show entitled Diz Is It to pit against the timeslot dominated by ABS-CBN's Showtime!.

Hosts include Bayani Agbayani, Ehra Madrigal, Sam YG, and Grace Lee.

Bayani is a known comedian and his funny antics will surely entertain us every morning. Ehra Madrigal, one of GMA-7's young and sexy kontrabida will surely draw male attention into the show. Magic 89.9 DJ Sam YG (Eat Bulaga's Shivaker) is a budding comedian and a very good host. Meanwhile, Korean Grace Lee, another Magic 89.9 DJ who does the morning show with Mo Twister isn't much of a household name yet. But being a fan of her morning radio show, I'm sure that she will captivate the hearts not just of men but of the women as well.

Maricel Soriano is one of the judges. Yeah, she's the original Taray Queen but I hope she won't copy what Showtime's Vice Ganda is already doing.

Diz Is It premieres on Monday, February 8th, at 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, right before Eat Bulaga!.

"Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak" Airs Feb. 8

Things are now looking up for Jennilyn Mercado. With her current soap, Ikaw Sana coming to an end this Friday, a new one entitled Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak will start airing Monday next week, February 8.

Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak is a remake of the 1990 classic Lino Brocka movie of the same title. It starred Dina Bonnevie who won a 1991 FAMAS Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Rachel. Charo Santos-Concio also won a Best Supporting Award for her role, while Lino Brocka won Best Director.

In the GMA-7 television remake, GKSL will have Jennilyn Mercado as Rachel and Dennis Trillo as Levi, a role played by Christopher de Leon in the movie. Also in the cast are Sandy Andolong, Ryza Cenon, Mart Escudero, Prince Stefan, Vaness del Moral, Al Tantay, Julio Diaz, Michael Sandico, at Glydel Mercado.

It can be noted that Prince Stefan has a lot of sexy pictures on the internet as of late. Is it a sign that he would be going sexy in GKSL?

Erich Gonzales on Chalk's Feb 2010 Cover

Erich Gonzales is on the cover of Chalk’s February 2010 issue. She has really come a long way since winning Star Circle Quest back in 2005. After supporting roles in shows such as Abt Ur Luv and Pieta, she was given the lead in Katorse last year. The role of a 14-year-old mother named Nene catapulted her to greater stardom.

When Katorse came to an end, she was immediately given another project to star into, the currently airing Tanging Yaman where she plays opposite Melissa Ricks together with other Katorse stars Enchong Dee and Ejay Falcon.

[PBB Double Up] Roy!

Jason was able to finish walking 17 hours around the pool, but that's not without a night's rest.

Only Melai didn't know that her ex-boyfriend Roy was inside the PBB House to talk to her.

In a short interview with Toni Gonzaga, Roy said he loved Melai but the feeling was fading. He also admitted that he and Melai had already broken up before due to different reasons.

Jason himself blindfolded Melai and brought her to House B. And there, driving a sidecar, Roy surprised Melai. He even made Melai ride the sidecar and gave her his pasalubong of burger and fries.

Melai seemed mystified. Could it be that she's still in love with Roy?

What could happen if Melai chose Roy over Jason? If that happens, Jason walked 17 hours to his failure. LoL!

[PBB Double Up] Jason’s Sacrifice

If Jason couldn't say directly that he loves Melai before, it's kinda different now. The tricycle driver from Mindoro is now quite serious in wooing the English teacher from General Santos City. But he wants things clear between Melai and her ex-boyfriend named Roy.

Jason wants Melai and Roy to be able to talk so they can sort things out between them. From what Jason knows, there hadn't been any formal break-up between the two.

Big Brother decided to offer Jason a sacrifice in exchange for bringing Roy in the PBB House. And the sacrifice? Jason should walk for 1,053 minutes, the numbers symbolizing the number of kilometers between the PBB House and General Santos City.

It's more than 17 hours of walk around the pool for Jason, but he doesn't seem to mind the challenge. As he said before he started, "I'm doing this for the sake of love, and everything goes."

But the question is, will he be able to finish the 1,053 minutes of walking? We'll find out tonight.

Andi Eigenmann Stars in "Agua Bendita"

Andi Eigenmann, daughter of Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil, is set to star in the upcoming ABS-CBN television series, "Agua Bendita."

Shaina Magdayao used to star in "Agua Bendita" when it was done as a mini-series under "Komiks Presents." But they needed a fresh face for the role. And besides, Shaina is already co-starring in Angelica Panganiban's "Rubi."

Andi was given a supporting role before in "Prinsesa ng Banyera," an afternoon soap which starred Kristine Hermosa. She was also seen in PBB Teen Edition 2 as a houseguest, although she begged to go out of the house during the military training.

In a television interview, Andi said she has lost 30 pounds for the role. And true enough, she's now a sexier young lady as she parades around in a bathing suit in Agua Bendita's teaser.

Coming from a family of respected actors, people are raving about how good she might be as an actress. But Andi says she has her own acting style. She just have to let it out and shine.

Watch Agua Bendita's teaser below.

Bea Alonzo on Metro Feb 2010

Bea Alonzo looks lovely on the February 2010 cover of Metro.

Bea is currently busy with her comeback movie with John Lloyd Cruz, a post-Valentine Star Cinema offering entitled "I Miss You Like Crazy."

I wonder, though, when they'll stop using song titles as movie titles.

But regardless, I'm sure the movie will be a box-office hit.

Hottest Girls on Vanity Fair March 2010
