Charice Pempengco will be performing in the pre-inauguration party for the US president-elect Barack Obama. The diminutive singer who Oprah dubbed as “the most talented girl” will sing two songs chosen by Obama’s staff – One Moment in Time (Whitey Houston) and God Bless America (Kate Smith). It’s quite an honor for her to be singing God Bless America for it is considered as an unofficial national anthem of the US.
Charice will fly to the US today to attend the pre-inauguration on the 18th. She’s just not sure if she will be invited to the actual inauguration which will happen on the 20th.
