Survivor Philippines Ep 35: Jace Gets the Boot

Tribal Council day and Mommy Zita has the Immunity Necklace. Charisse is still confused on who to vote out and Kiko has qualms about Rob's loyalty. Jace is a hundred percent sure of JC's cooperation while Marlon isn't convinced about it.

The remaining 10 castaways will be part of the jury during the final stage of the competition. They have power on who will be the first ever Sole Survivor.

Zita compared her winning the immunity to Manny Pacquiao's victory. The way she was carried by her fellow castaways reminded her of how Pacquiao was carried in the same manner by his supporters.

About who she'd give the Immunity Necklace to if she had the chance to do so, she said she'd just keep it for herself because she thinks she's the one in danger.

In the end, the loyalty of the former Naak tribe to their team won over the lesser (former) Jarakay's. Kiko got 4 votes (the same number as of the remaining Jarakays) while Jace got 6 (the same number as of the remaining Naaks).

So Marlon's judgment over JC's loyalty is correct. And it is now quite clear to the remaining 3 Jarakays that JC somehow betrayed them. Will the pattern continue? Will the next castaway to leave be yet another Jarakay?

Survivor Philippines Ep 34: Alila

The former Naak members noticed how hard Marlon works, and how lazy Jace has become. They even think Jarakay could not have survived if not for Marlon. According to Kiko, though, Marlon spoiled the Jarakay and that's the reason why they're making an "alila" out of him now.

Kiko, at one point noticing how Jace was so not doing anything, told Marlon to fetch water and to call Jace to help him out. But Kiko's good intention came to waste because Marlon seemed to misinterpret what he had done (that, or he was playing double). While in the water well, Marlon told Jace that they now have an instant boss (Kiko), and told Jace about how Kiko instructed him to fetch water and to call Jace to help him out.

Survivor Philippines Ep 33: Immunity Necklace

JC reading the Chalam mail
Thinking that he has won JC in his alliance, Jace planned ahead instructing Marlon as who to vote off in this order: Kiko, Rob, Cris and Zita. Little did he know that JC's loyalty still belongs to Naak.

Since the castaways now all belong to one tribe (Chalam), they will not be fighting for the Immunity Idol anymore. It was replaced by the Immunity Necklace.

As the Immunity Challenge went, only the first five castaways to get into the cage (by digging their way in with their bare hands which are chained together) will move on to the next round. The five who moved on were (in order) Jace, JC, Zita, Charisse and Veronica.

They five had to dig in again to go to the next cage. Once there, they would have to improvise (from the things scattered around) something they could get the key with in the other end of the next cage. The key would then be used to unchain their arms. Mommy Zita was able to get her key first. After which she had to go through another cage filled with what looked like branches of trees designed to make anyone's passage a very hard one.

Mommy Zita was so determined to win the challenge. And it was a heart-pounding moment as she went on from one level of the challenge to the next. As Paolo Bediones said, Mommy Zita was showing everyone that age doesn't really matter.

But then the episode tonight is really about an old mother who is so determined and will do everything to give her children a better life.

Survivor Philippines Ep 31: Chalam

After Nikki's departure as the eighth eliminated castaway, the remaining ten unite as one tribe. Expecting to do another challenge (but most of them have the merger in mind), the Naak and Jarakay tribes went to meet Paolo Bediones. Most of them were ecstatic as the host instructed them to drop their buffs because they were Naak and Jarakay no more. Their buffs were replaced by new purple ones as they carry the name of their new tribe - Chalam.

Chalam is the Thai term for shark, and the waters of Koh Tarutao is believed to be inhabited by them.

The merger was celebrated by a feast of Filipino foods - kare-kare, mechado, hipon, lechon kawali, etc. and the remaining ten castaways were more than happy to devour them. All of them, though, was attacked by impatso after eating more than enough their stomach could hold.

What are these records, and who will be called El Ultimo Participante? We will soon find out as Pinoy Fear Factor: South America begins airing on November 10, 2008.

Survivor Philippines Ep 27: Scary Stories

The Jarakay tribe members were so envious while watching the Naak tribe take their bath. The Naak tribe were actually so lucky to have the luxury of shampoo, bath soap, toothbrush, and even deodorant. Spending days on the island is tough enough, and the lack of these things make it even harder.

Marlon and Jace talk about their alliance once more. Jace was a hundred percent sure about his alliance on JC, ifever the merge put them together in a single tribe. Marlon, on the other hand, tries to get the trust of every person in their tribe so as to assure his position in the competition

It rains come night time and Jace narrates spooky stories which frightened Veronica. Even Marlon is scared. He says he can stand up against a number of bad guys but isn't ready to face even just a single ghost.

Nanay Zita becomes more of a mother to the Naak tribe. Missing her children more as the day passes by, she turns her attention to the younger members of the tribe to ease her loneliness. Having experienced being a maid before, she just considers her stay in the island like being a maid in a house far away from her family, afterwhich she gets a day-off and gets to see her children after a month's work.

Gagambino's Pilot Episode Topped Primetime Rating

The pilot episode of GMA's Gagambino topped Monday's primetime television with a rating of 34.5%, while its rival show ABS-CBN's Iisa Pa Lamang only got 25.5%.

Gagambino occupied the timeslot of Dyesebel which ended last October 17 still on top of the rating with 41.1%.

Gagambino stars the hunky Dennis Trillo together with Raymart Santiago, Polo Ravales, Katrina Halili, Nadine Samonte, Isabel Oli, Glaiza de Castro, Jennica Garcia, Mart Escudero and Jean Garcia.

Survivor Philippines Ep 26: Bath Time!

The Naak tribe yet again won in the Reward Challenge. They were the first to gather 5 pails of mud (Jarakay only had 3 by the time Naak reached their 5th pail).

Procedure was three members from both tribes would be the "mud gatherer." They would take turns in rolling in the mud, walk back to their respective bases and put the mud from their head and body to the waiting pails. First to gather five pails of mud wins the reward consisting of soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. The catch was, they could use the items only in the makeshift bathroom nearby. Though they couldn't take the reward back to their camp, it was good enough treat to be able to bathe the way they're used to, shampoo and brush their teeth.

Kris Aquino's Back on The Buzz

It's refreshing to know that Kris Aquino will be back on The Buzz this Sunday. ABS-CBN decided on bringing Kris back on the show after the suspension of Cristy Fermin.

It can be recalled that Kris Aquino decided to leave the show last year after the James Yap-Hope Centeno scandal. She was replaced by Cristy Fermin, who is now on suspension until the end of this year.

Kris, who wants her Sundays off to spend it with her family, had qualms about accepting the hosting job but finally said yes.

Will they bring Cristy Fermin back on the show after the suspension?

I hope Kris Aquino stays.

Survivor Philippines Ep 25: Goodbye John

John Anthony Lopez was the seventh castaway to leave Koh Tarutao. His tribemates voted him off due to his health condition which proved to hinder his performance during the last Immunity Challenge which the tribe lost in.

Nikki, on the other hand, volunteered to be voted off even before the Immunity Challenge started. It's perhaps because she felt her being useless in the tribe, or she somehow knew she was the one her tribemates were going to vote off. The "Muscle Men" alliance really had Nikki next in line, but decided on John due to his condition. It can be noted that John was even sent to the hospital when his potassium count went down.

A Busy Zanjoe Marudo

Zanjoe Marudo is currently busy promoting his first lead role via the digital film titled "Altar." It's a horror-suspense movie about a boxer who retires in the US after killing an opponent. The boxer goes back to the Philippines and works as a carpenter in a house which has a haunted basement, and the only one who can defeat the demons down there is a person with a clean heart.

Fits Zanjoe since he still looks so wholesome despite his pics in undies scattered around. How can a man in undies still look so wholesome? I guess only Zanjoe can do that.

The mactor (model/actor) is also busy with "Dyosa" and is set to do "Weddings" and yet another horror show with Maricel Soriano entitled "Florinda."

He can also be seen on ASAP '08 every Sunday as part of the all-male-group Coverboys.

The New GMA Network Studios

The new state-of-the-art GMA Network Studios in Quezon City was blessed yesterday, October 16, 2008. It has four storeys and houses two studios (studio 4 and 5). Studio 4, which can accomodate up to 1,000 people, is designed for the live shows of GMA 7 while studio 5 is for the tapings of their other shows. The GMA Network spent 900 million pesos for the new building and it was done without taking out a bank loan, only proving that the network is still in good business position despite the economic crisis. GMA Network dedicates its new studios to the viewers as it continues to produce quality shows.

Survivor Philippines Ep 24: Ghost!

Marlon somewhat blames Jace for not winning the Immunity Challenge but Jace, being the frontman in the said challenge, says that he's in a very difficult position unlike Marlon who was in the middle of the line during that time.

It rained almost the whole night at the Naak camp and Kiko and JC decided not to sleep and just take care of the fire instead. While raining, Kaye claims that she saw an image of a man in the dark. She says the image, which she at first thought was just a shadow, lasted for five long seconds.

JC makes a list of all the foods he has been craving for since they arrived at the island. He says he wants to keep a list of all those foods so he can eat them all when he goes back to Manila.

The castaways of both tribes are having problems with the insects of the island. Charisse even says that she wants to set the island on fire to get rid of the insects.

The Jarakay tribe is set to go to the tribal council tomorrow. Will it be Nikki? Or Marlon?

Guy Ritchie and Madonna To Divorce

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie will divorce after almost eight years of marriage, Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg confirms in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Rosenberg also pointed out that Madonna and Guy have not agreed to a settlement. Rumors are that the two do not have a pre-nuptial agreement.

It's scary since Madonna is said to worth more than $500 million.

This resulted to talks that Guy Ritchie is a gold-digger who's just in it for the money.

The two married on December 22, 2000 at Skibo Castle in Scotland. They have a biological son named Rocco (born August 11, 2000) and an adopted Malawian baby boy.

Both Guy and Madonna are devotees of the Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) Centre, a non-profit spiritual organization.

Cristy Fermin is Suspended!

The contract of Cristy Fermin with ABS-CBN has been suspended by the network until the end of this year (December 31, 2008). It stems out from her rift with Nadia Montenegro. It seems like karma is real after all. No one can really get away with everything.

I am sure Nadia Montenegro (and Mo Twister) is having a blast =)

Here's a report from PEP on the statement of ABS-CBN regarding the matter:

Gagambino to Premiere on October 20, 2008

Here's a teaser of Gagambino, the fantaserye to take the slot of Dyesebel as it is on its final week. Gagambino will premiere on Monday, October 20, 2008.

Dennis Trillo plays the lead role of Bino/Gagambino. Also in the cast are Nadine Samonte, Katrina Halili and Polo Ravales.

Richard Gutierrez was GMA's first choice for the role when they bought the rights to this Carlo J. Caparas story. But Richard allegedly chose Codename: Asero over this so they chose Dennis Trillo instead. It's also rumored that JC De Vera was also one of GMA's choices before they decided on Dennis.

No Nudity for Zac

There were talks about Zac Efron being offered the Broadway play Equus, where Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe got completely naked. But don't keep your hopes up yet, cuz the High School Musical star squashed those rumors by saying that he'd rather go to college instead. Zac says that he got accepted to the film program of the USC, but deferred it to a later time. He says he is working with great directors everyday and learning so much in the process.

Zac, and the rest of the HSM stars, is currently busy promoting High School Musical 3 which will be shown everywhere on October 24.

Charice Meets Mariah

Charice Pempengco performed in front of the A-list Hollywood stars in the glamorous Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation's Grand Slam for Children benefit concert which is held annually to benefit needy children. But one of her biggest dreams came true even before the show started when she met Mariah Carey in person. Mariah only had praises for the young Filipina singer saying, "I am very happy and I hope I'm gonna sing with her soon, I wish. You're beautiful, it's so nice to meet you. She's so cute! I love you Filipinos, thank you."

Other top notch singers who performed on stage were Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crowe and Mariah Carey herself. It was Charice, though, who was given a thunderous applause and a standing ovation.

(Please stop asking her who she wanna meet next. She's starting to look like a fan touring the world to meet her idols.)

David Foster, American composer and producer who is now Charice's mentor, says he probably had at least two dozen people stopping him on the street just to thank him for what he's done for Charice.

The glitzy benefit concert was held last Saturday, October 11, at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

Survivor Philippines Ep 21: And They Love Marlon

After Vevherly's departure, the Naak tribe went with the Jarakay tribe to "sleep over" in the latter's camp site as was instructed by the host Paolo Bediones. It seemed that the members of the Jarakay weren't sociable aside from Marlon and Charisse. Marlon entertained the Naak castaways so well he even slept with them.

Zac Efron on the Cover of Entertainment Weekly's Photo Issue

Zac Efron is on the cover of EW's Photo Issue. The High School Musical star who is rumored to replace Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway's Equus is currently one of the most successful tweens in Hollywood today, and Zac is not only living the popularity and success but enjoying it as well.

The teen heartthrob is also the star of "Seventeen Again," a movie about an older man whose life didn't turn out the way he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school again. True enough, he woke up one morning as a seventeen-year-old. Much like the 1988 film "Big" which made Tom Hanks a star and which also earned him an Oscar nomination.

Let's just hope that "Seventeen Again" will also earn Zac an Oscar.

Zac Efron To Go Nude

Rumors about Zac Efron going naked is spreading around. The High School Musical star has been allegedly offered the lead role in Equus, a Broadway play where Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe also showed his body.

Is Zac letting go of his wholesome image already? Well I'm sure he'd lose some fans if he did, but for the delight of many.

"Umagang Kay Showbiz" No More

Ogie Diaz will not be on Umagang Kay Ganda starting Monday, October 13, 2008. He was allegedly dismissed due to a violation he made due to a conflict between his principles and the management's Code of Ethics. The violation (which he didn't elaborate on - resulted into termination (non-renewal) of services. Ogie Diaz also stated that it was just his first violation and he wasn't given any warning or suspension that is normally the initial measure given to employees who goes against the company's policies. He was just made to say goodbye to the show - he didn't resign - since he also didn't have a contract.

Ogie still hosts "Talakan," a DZMM (ABS-CBN's AM station) radio show, so we can still hear him.

"Umagang Kay Showbiz" will surely be missed. After all, most of us just tune in to Umagang Kayganda because of the Ogie Diaz-hosted segment.

Survivor Philippines Ep 20: Vevherly Gets the Boot

Vevherly knew her tribemates would vote her out even before they were inside the tribal council. She knew because she was aware of the alliance that was formed in the early stages of their tribe.

The Jarakay tribe members were allowed inside the tribal council to witness Naak's elimination process. Marlon was ever grinning as if mockeries were running in his mind.

Vevherly wasn't wrong when the votes were counted. All the rest of Naak voted her off.

Nanay Zita is the only one left without an alliance in Naak. Would they really go with the alliance and vote her off next time they lose the Immunity Challenge?

Twilight Trailer

TWilight's trailer is impressive. I've actually been hearing about the novel for months now but my limited time prohibits me from reading it. But now that the movie nears its showing, I'm really gonna download the e-book version and read it before November 21.

Twilight is a vampire movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke based on the novel of the same title by Stephenie Meyer. It's adapted into a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg and stars Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen).

Synopsis:
TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school.  When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change.  Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met.  Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul.  Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands and he hasn't aged since 1918.  Like all vampires, he's immortal.   But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for a soul mate.  But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy.  But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her?

ABOUT TWILIGHT: Based on the current #1 New York Times Bestselling series (30 weeks and counting) with over 5.5 million books in print by Stephenie Meyer, TWILIGHT is a cultural phenomenon, with a dedicated fanbase that eagerly awaits this movie.  There are over 100 fan sites devoted to Twilight, and it has been chosen as the New York Times  Editor's Choice, a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, Amazon's Best Book of the Decade…n So Far, Teen People's Hot List Pick, The American Library Association's Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults and Top Ten Books for Reluctant Readers and has been translated into 20 languages.   Critically acclaimed director Catherine Hardwicke brings to life this modern, visual, and visceral Romeo & Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair - between vampire and mortal.

Angelina Jolie in Breastfeeding Pics

Angelina Jolie shares to the public a private moment in a breastfeeding picture taken by partner, Brad Pitt. The picture was taken mid-August in the backyard of their French chateau.

The pic on the cover is just one of a series of breastfeeding pictures that Angelina allowed to be taken for W, an American lifestyle magazine.

The actress and her family (husband Brad, the twins Vivienne and Know, plus her four adopted children) were recently in New York to attend the premiere of Angelina's new movie, The Changeling.

Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D.

The Black Eyed Peas is set to finish their new album by next week (Oct. 15) at the Metropolis Studios in London. Will.i.am, producer and group member, says that they got software guys so they can also release the album through the internet. He believes that record stores will only be selling actual CDs till Christmas of this year.

Many people buy music through iTunes, yeah, but I really don't think actual CDs will be phased out by next year. Not that soon.

Anyway, the group's soon-to-be-released album is entitled "The E.N.D." Quite catchy, but no, they're not disbanding or anything (as was speculated when Fergie went solo). The E.N.D. actually means The Energy Never Dies. They surely know how to catch the public's eye.

Their last album was released 3 years ago and has sold 4.2 million copies in the United States alone. 3 years is a long enough rest. Fans are waiting and they will surely buy this new album.

Line Stealer?

I was able to watch Charice's guesting on ASAP '08 and I must admit the distribution of song lines intrigued me. I just let it go thinking that perhaps, ASAP just wanted to tell people that Sarah Geronimo cannot be outstaged by Charice Pempengco. But then again a big question remained in my head seeing that one moment when Charice lifted her microphone to her mouth to sing but didn't go on as Sarah stole/sang the line.

It's only today when I read about the incident on celebrity blogs and confirmed that it's not only me who noticed it. I watched the YouTube video of the Raechelle-Charice-Sarah part and even noticed Raechelle Ann Go's reactions that I can describe as part surprise and part disbelief.

You be the judge.

Survivor Philippines Ep 19: Nina Leaves

Due to the condition of her misaligned toe, Nina has to leave the competition.

Before the Immunity Challenge, host Paolo Bediones called back the two castaways who were brought to the hospital after the Reward (Spooling) Challenge. JC, who had a foot infection, went back to his tribe (Naak). Nina, on the other hand, also went back to her Jarakay tribe, foot in a cast, to tell the news that she cannot continue her journey due to her toe. "As much as I want to stay, yung toe ko ayaw eh," she told Jarakay, and Naak as well.

Be that as it may, the incident just spared Nina the trouble of spending senseless days in the tribe. She's next in the list of the "Muscle Men" after all. In her own words: "At least hindi ako na-vote out."

Immunity Challenge was again won by the Jarakay tribe. Lacking strategy from the tribe representatives, Marlon did his best to annoy Naak's Rob, and Marlon succeeded as Rob seemed to lose his presence of mind.

JC as the First Sole Survivor?

Rumor is: the hardcourt heartthrob from San Beda John Carlo "JC" Tiuseco is the first Pinoy Sole Survivor. Showbiz Juice states that their sources allegedly overheard some Survivor Philippines staff talking about it in a coffee shop.

Host Paolo Bediones, though, says that it is quiteimpossible to know who the winner is as of now because only the program manager knows it. Last September, the Survivor Philippines contestants did cast their final votes before they left Koh Tarutao but the result will be revealed on the last day of Survivor Philippines which will be aired live over GMA.

Quite obvious that there are those who are envious of the show's success and would like to ruin it. The thing is, they're only making the show more popular.

Valerie Concepcion Isn't Richard Poon's Type

I actually admire Richard Poon for being too honest when he said that Valerie Concepcion was not his type of girl. I admire him not because he doesn't like Valerie, but because he's not like other men who will say otherwise when asked if they like a certain woman.

And to those who's making such an issue about it, c'mon, Richard's just being honest =)

Valerie says that the issue started when they did a show together at Zirkoh bar in Greenhills where the press asked her what she thought about Richard Poon. She reportedly replied that she likes his voice. And then the press of course (having no other question to ask Richard) got Richard's side on the matter. But then he said Valerie's not his type.

Haha sad.

Survivor Philippines Ep 18: An Irritated Marlon

Marlon had a hard time making fire so Kiko stepped in and was able to make fire after a few tries. Marlon was so irritable with Kiko's prescence that even Charisse noted Marlon's immaturity.

Then Kiko found a small, sharp nail in his rice while having dinner that night. Such coincidence.

The Naak tribe misses Kiko, especially Zita who felt like she lost in a gamble when Kiko was kidnapped. Kiko is the main muscle in Naak and he's really a great loss to them.

Both JC and Nina are brought to the hospital due to JC's infected left foot and Nina's dislocated toe. Will both be able to get back before the allowed 24 hours is over?

John Prats as Tiny Tony

As Varga ends, Tiny Tony will begin airing this Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 7pm. It stars the adorable John Prats as Anthony, the alter-ego of the superhero Tiny Tony. The story is cool if only for the fact that Anthony becomes the size of a thumb whenever he transforms into Tiny Tony. A male (and Pinoy) version of Thumbelina, I guess.

Just like Kapitan Boom and Varga, Tiny Tony is another of Mars Ravelo's creation.

Also in the cast are Alex Gonzaga, Coco Martin, Susan Africa, Mura, Gerard Acao, and with a special participation of Pen Medina.

I'm really glad John Prats has a new project now.

Survivor Philippines Ep 17: Kidnapped!

Kiko was "kidnapped" by the Jarakay tribe as one of the privileges in winning the Reward (Spooling) Challenge. The actual rewards are two pillows and a family-size hammock.

The Spooling Challenge consists of five posts with cloths wrapped around them. One member of the tribe will act as the spinner while the other five act as spools with their respective posts. The spinner will attach one end of the cloth wrapped around the first post to the waist of the first "spool." After attaching attaching it, the cspinner will spin his tribemate around the post. In effect, the cloth will be transferred from the post to the human spool. After all is done, the spinner and the first spool will run to the next post where the second human spool is waiting. The spinner will attach the second spool to the first spool, attach one end of the cloth to the waist of the second spool, and repeats the process.

The challenge started with the Naak tribe leading the race, but Jarakay won in the end.

The Jarakay tribe got the reward and chose Kiko to kidnap for one whole day. Kiko was thankful as that also means he is immune from the next eviction. Yes, the tribe mates cannot vote out the kidnapped castaway in their next trip to the tribal council.

Survivor Philippines Ep 16: Goodbye Patani

Patani got booted out last night from Survivor Philippines. She got three out of eight votes, beating Nina and Niki who got two votes each. Patani's elimination is the second one for Jarakay despite the fact that they only lost in the Immunity Challenge once. Host Paolo Bediones made it clear that a double elimination can happen in any Survivor franchise if a need to trim down the number of castaways is needed. Prior to Patani's elimination, Gigit was unexpectedly voted out last Friday by the Jarakay tribe. Perhaps his co-tribesmen either didn't see his worth, or they were threatened by his capabilities.

Back to Blogging

My computer had been infected with a virus that I was compelled to bring it to the tech (who took more than a week to fix it). All's well and running now. My PC is almost as good as new again. But I must admit the incident made my Survivor Philippines updates so late behind. Aside from Chev, Emerson and Gigit are now out of the competition, and another one is leaving tonight.

I really hope nothing bad happens to my PC again so I can continue what I love doing, that is, blogging. I already changed my antivirus to Avira, my tech says it's better than my old Nod32. It is said to detect and clean more virus than Nod32, and to top it all, Avira is free.

I just hope and pray Avira really works.
