The Saturday (March 5) episode of "Eat Bulaga!" was a treat to all the fans of Maine Mendoza as the noontime show celebrated the the 21st birthday of #KalyeSerye sweetheart Maine Mendoza.
The episode was filled with production numbers that feature the birthday celebrant, plus the super kilig dance number of her and the other half of the AlDub tandem, Alden Richards.
The Pambansang Bae had a number of gifts to Maine, spelling out the letters of her name - Medallion (a St. Bernard medal to guide her and keep her from harm), Alaga (a pair of African love birds), Illustration (a framed sketch of a photo of the two of them), Notebook (where she can write the important things that happen in her life), and the last one was for her Eyes only. It was a small box that contains something that Alden would like to be the one to put into Maine whenever she's ready. Could the last one be an Engagement ring?
Meanwhile, Alden's message to his love team included a line that says he'd be willing to go wherever she went. That, and the super kilig "I love you" which was followed by a kiss. And yes, their last kiss was really on the lips.
The birthday special ended with Maine giving a message to her bashers, telling them that just like everybody else, she's not perfect. She told them to look in the mirror first before trying to put her down with her own flaws.
