Hari ng Pilipinas held its inaugural pageant in Cauayan, Isabela on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Forty-one gorgeous men vied for the title, and Jerson Mendez of Marinduque made history by being the first-ever Hari ng Pilipinas.

It was a tough job for the judges because a lot of those that got included in the Top 12 had very good communication skills. Contestants were allowed to answer in the language they were comfortable in. Jerson answered in Filipino, and he answered his question the best he could.
