A mother of 3 mentally ill children rescued in “Saklolo”

ABS-CBN reporters Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor examine the story of a woman who endured more than a decade of taking care of her three mentally ill children tomorrow (Nov 12 ) in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo.”

A concerned citizen approached ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya to rescue “Nanay Mildred,” a widower who has been trying to look after her three children “Abigail,” 50, “Dennis,” 46,” and “Roldan,” 43 for ten years now.

Teenage pregnancies in “Patrol Ng Pilipino” (July 31)

The number of teenage pregnancies in the country has reached alarming proportions according to a United Nations (UN) study, which revealed the Philippines now ranks first among Southeast Asian nations in terms of high adolescent pregnancy rates.

Tomorrow (July 31) in “Patrol ng Pilipino,” ABS-CBN news reporter Jing Castaneda will dig deeper into the alarming statistics by interviewing a group of teenage pregnant girls to find out what factors influenced, or even encouraged them to engage in premarital sex.

"Patrol ng Pilipino" tackles rising malnutrition among Filipino children

While poverty is still a leading cause of malnutrition in the country, experts note that even young, economically able Filipinos are suffering from the health problem mainly due to their unhealthy eating habits.


Tomorrow (July 10) in Patrol ng Pilipino, ABS-CBN news reporter Francis Faulve will report on the rising malnutrition rates among children aged eleven to 19 years old for the current affairs program’s special Nutrition Month episode.
