Miss International Queen 2024 scandal

For those of us who watched the show via livestream, we all thought that Miss International Queen 2024 went on smoothly.

Little did we know that something wrong was going on at the backstage while everyone was trying be demure on stage.

A video showing Miss Malaysia shouting and having a fit have been circulating online since right after the crowning moment of Miss Peru as the new queen.

In the video, Miss Malaysia is seen angry at a woman wearing a black dress.

According to some of the comments in the video posted on Facebook, Miss Malaysia apparently didn't want to participate in the swimsuit round after failing to make it to the top 12.

Just like in other big pageants, those who didn't make the cut will open the next segment, in this case, the swimsuit round. This move enables the girls to still showcase on stage their swimsuit and the bodies that they have long dieted for.

They also need to come out during the crowning in their evening gowns,regardless of how far they have made in the competition.

Well, anyway, the woman in black (who seemed to be part of the production) apparently told Miss Malaysia to go home upon learning that she didn't want to go out for the swimsuit round.

But why didn't she want to participate in the swimsuit round?

Sone comments say she lost her swimwear.
