Iza Calzado will pay tribute to her late father, Lito Calzado, at the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) awards night that will be aired on ABS-CBN.
Direk Lito will be honored with the Special Posthumous Award and Iza will do a Dance with my Father production number.
Noel Ferrer, Iza's manager, said they have told GMA-7 about the production number even if the actress' contract with the network has already expired. Besides, it's a tribute to her father who was well-loved in the entertainment industry.
The Eat Bulaga! host was recently reported to transfer to the Kapamilya network. Perhaps it's one of the changes that Ferrer was referring to when he said that there will be "major, major projects and major, major reinvention and changes" that will take place in Iza's 10th year in showbiz.
