Witching hour starts with "Suspiria" on October 31 in cinemas

Director Erik Matti released his own statement on social media on Friday night, confirming that he has parted ways with the Darna movie project. According to Matti, "things didn't work out" between him and the production company.

Erik Matti and ABS-CBN decide to part ways on Darna

Erik Matti was supposed to be the director of ABS-CBN's adaptation of "Darna," but despite all the lengthy preparations (which included the replacement of the lead actress), it was announced on Thursday that the director and the network "decided to part ways in the filming" of the much-awaited movie. ABS-CBN has released a statement Thursday afternoon announcing that Erik Matti will no longer be the director of "Darna" which will star Liza Soberano.

Misters of Filipinas 2018 was held on Wednesday (October 3) at the Music Museum.
