The Misters of Filipinas 2024 coronation night is happening on October 10th, and the candidates are already currently busy with pageant activities, especially for the opening night on Saturday at Xylo at The Palace in Taguig City. Sofronio Vasquez is making Pinoys proud for making the four The Voice  coaches turn with his rendition of I'm Going Down . Photo: X/sofroniovasquez We've seen the video of the four-chair-turning-performance a few days ago, and just recently, it was revealed that Sofronio chose Michael Buble as his coach. Well it was a battle between Snoop Dogg and Buble but I had the feeling even before then that the Filipino singer would choose the latter because they somehow had the same style in singing.  Sofronio even did Buble's Feeling Good  during one of his Tawag Ng Tanghalan  performances years ago. It was actually a good choice of coach, especially that the coach somehow talked about the Philippines while trying to get Sofronio on his team.  I just hope it was not a Pinoy-baiting scheme to make the show's online presence stronger, and then they will cut Sofronio early into the season.  But then again, no one can deny that Sofronio really has exceptional singing talent.
