Regal Films has released the official movie poster of Haunted Forest , an Ian Loreños movie which is showing December 25 as part of the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Haunted Forest stars the young cast of Jane Oineza, Jameson Blake, Maris Racal and Jon Lucas. They are joined by Raymart Santiago and Joey Marquez.

Star Cinema has revealed the first-day earning of Unexpectedly Yours which opened in cinemas nationwide on November 29. Starring Sharon Cuneta, Robin Padilla, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, the movie has reportedly earned P14-million on its opening day.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, whose advocacy is AIDS awareness, took to social media Wednesday morning to make a statement regarding the recent drug bust that happened at a hotel in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. Last Sunday, eleven men were arrested in the said drug raid. Coco Martin takes on the role of Flavio in the reboot of Ang Panday . The movie is one of the official entries to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) set to open on Christmas Day. The teaser shows Flavio using the sword in fighting the evil forces inside a train. The scene promises big action scenes in a fantasy setting, a formula that has almost always won in the local box office particularly during the MMFF.

Kris Aquino kept her promise to Kim Chiu that she would host a block screening of The Ghost Bride when she gets back to the country. She was in the U.S. when she made that promise over Instagram. Fox Animation, Chernin Entertainment and Blue Sky Studios announced today the voice casting of Will Smith and Tom Holland as the lead characters Lance Sterling and Walter in the animated feature SPIES IN DISGUISE , an action comedy that will be released by Twentieth Century Fox in 2019.
