Sarah Lahbati didn’t appear in the hearing of the perjury and libel charges she filed against GMA Network executive Annette Gozon-Abrogar at the Makati Regional Trial Court.
The legal charges were with regards to the statements said which stemmed from Sarah’s controversial decision to leave the country, and thus, the network where she’s still under contract with and where she had ongoing projects at that time.
But the actress was not trying to avoid meeting Abrogar, according to her lawyer Atty. Marie Glen Abraham.
“Actually, wala namang pag-iiwas at wala rin namang dahilan na mag-iwasan sila,” Abraham said.
She also answered questions regarding the controversial picture of a baby who is allegedly Sarah’s child with boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.
“Parang panggulo lang ‘yun dun sa kaso,” she said. “So sana ‘wag nating ituon ‘yung atensyon sa mga bagay na hindi naman relevant.
Abrogar, meanwhile, talked about the lesson she got from what happened between her Sarah.
“Kailangan lang maging ready sa lahat ng klase ng tao talaga because you never know,” she said.
