Ericka Villongco, who is in the cast of the upcoming movie "Relaks, It's Just Pag-ibig," said it wasn't Nadine Lustre that caused her break-up with James Reid.
According to Ericka, third party was not the reason of her break-up with James last March, after three and a half years of being together.
"No, there was no third party. James was loyal, he was faithful, very loving," the singer-actress said in an interview with Ricky Lo.
She even revealed that Nadine was one of the people she talked with after the break-up.
"Nadine is very lovely, down-to-earth. After I broke up with James, we even talked. She told me, 'I'm here for you.' I'm happy for her team-up with James," she said.
Meanwhile, "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" read a statement from James' handler saying the actor acknowledges that everything Ericka said in the interview was true.
The actor was also quoted in the statement as saying: "I just want to say thank you for everything. I always intended for us to be friends again eventually."
