The love team of Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III (monickered Guy and Pip) will be revived by TV5 in a program titled When I Fall In Love.
Guy and Pip was the hottest love team in the 70s. The tandem of a morena and a mestizo was such a hit because, as they say, it gave brown-skinned Pinays a hope that a mestizo guy could also fall in love with them.
When I Fall In Love is set to take the timeslot of Never Say Goodbye after it ends. Nora and Tirso will be joined in the cast by Marvin Agustin, Karel Marquez, Nadine Samonte, and Artista Academy finalist Akihiro Blanco.
The announcement of the said series was made during Nora’s 60th birthday celebration at the Meralco Multi-Purpose Hall last Tuesday, May 21. TV5 Business Unit Head JoAnn Banaga and director Joel Lamangan broke the news.
Meanwhile, reports also say that Nora’s NCV Productions will again be producing movies and TV shows, this time, with the help of TV5.
