Kyle was declared the first ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef in the finale held on February 18, 2012. He bested three other finalists Jobim, Mika and Philip.
He got the highest total score of 91.8 points, just 0.7 points higher than Philip who got 91.1 points and was declared as the 2nd placer.
Kyle got a scholarship at the the Treston College worth 1.5 million pesos plus a cash prize of 1 million pesos courtesy of Purefoods.
Mika, on the other hand, was declared as the 3rd placer and Jobim, the 4th placer.
