Descendants and The Artist were big winners in the movie category at the 69th Golden Globe Awards (2012) held recently at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Homeland and Modern Family, on the other hand, won Best Drama and Best Comedy/Musical for TV.
Queen of Pop Madonna won the award for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for Masterpiece, while Kate Winslet won Best Actress in a TV Movie for her role in Mildred Pierce.
