Vanessa Ponce de Leon of Mexico was named Miss World 2018, besting over a hundred candidates from around the world. The pageant's final was held in China on December 8.
First runner-up was Miss Thailand Nicolene Limsnukan.
Miss Belarus Maria Vasilevich, Miss Jamaica Kadijah Robinson, and Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo were part of the top 5.
The top 12 also had contestants from France, Martinique, Panama, Mauritius, Nepal, New Zealand and Scotland.
Top 30 had Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, China, Chile, Cook Islands, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Northern Island, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, United States, Venezuela and Vietnam.
Katarina Rodriguez of the Philippines failed to even enter the top 30.
