Pinoy Boyband Superstar aired its first live episode on Saturday, November 5, 2016, with the Top 12 boyband member wannabe performing live for the first time.
This week, the boys were divided into 4 groups with 3 members each, and each group should convince the judges (Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, Yeng Constantino and Aga Muhlach) that they are worthy of staying in the competition.
At the end of the live performances from the four groups, the judges would pick the three best performing groups that would be saved from elimination. From the weakest group, meanwhile, one would be saved by the judges, one by public votes, and the other one would be eliminated.
The process would go on weekly; one boyband member wannabe would go home each week.
