Lilia Cuntapay dies at 81

Lilia Cuntapay, who is famous for her roles in local horror movies, has passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was 81.

She died at her son's home in Pinili, Ilocos Norte, only weeks after she made an appeal to her friends in showbiz to help her get medication.

She was suffering from a spinal cord illness and could no longer work.

List of movies where Cuntapay appeared include "Bahay ni Lola 2," Segunda Mano," "Amorosa," and "Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay" where she received a Best Actress award in 2011.
