Daniel has recently been embroiled in a controversy that involved an audio clip, a very untrustworthy friend who uploaded their conversation on the internet, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and her boyfriend Sam Concepcion.
The Teen King already admitted that it's really his voice in the audio clip saying he is texting another girl who is making him kilig (and it's not his love team and rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo).
He has also apologized to his fans about it, but didn't want to make the issue any bigger. He wanted to just learn from it and move on.
