The love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim (KimXi) is set to make a new movie together and cameras are reportedly going to start rolling this July. Titled Past Tense, Kim and Xian are joined in this new project by the Comedy Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas, which will surely make it double the fun.
Kim admitted that they are already excited to do the movie because it is something different. "Sobrang kakaibang kuwento, na kahit ako, kahit kami, na-e-excite kami," she told ABS-CBN News' Ginger Conejero.
The Teleserye Princess was even happy to reveal that Xian will be showing something new in the movie. "May papakilala si Xian sa pelikula - ang bago niyang talent. Abangan!" she said.
Meanwhile, Ai-Ai joked about being the love team's third wheel when she was asked what the movie is about. "Sort of love triangle," she joke. The comedienne, however, added that she hasn't seen anything like it in her entire showbiz career. "Sa buong career ko wala pa akong napanood na ganitong story."
She doesn't have a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry this year, and Ai-Ai confessed that she already misses doing a film fest movie. "Sobra, miss na miss ko na talaga s'ya. Although, okay lang din naman kasi 'pag may Metro Manila Film Fest (entry), ang hirap din na hindi ka makapag-ano ng Christmas gifts, ganyan."
Past Tense is the third movie of Kim and Xian's love team. It follows 2013's Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo? which made 102.6-million in the box office, and Bride For Rent which was the opening salvo of Star Cinema for 2014, making a whooping domestic gross of 326.9-million.
