The mugshots of Deniece Cornejo have been released by the Philippine National Police (PNP). She is one of the accused with serious illegal detention in connection with Vhong Navarro's mauling in a Taguig condo unit last January.
Cornejo surrendered at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame on Monday, May 5, 2014, two weeks after the non-bailable warrants of arrest were issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court (RTC) against her and four others.
The 22-year-old model was with her lawyers, Connie Aquino and Arleo Magtibay, and grandfather, Rod Cornejo, when she surrendered.
On April 21, the Taguig RTC issued the non-bailable warrants against Cornejo, Cedric Lee, Simeon Raz, Jed Fernandez and Ferdinand Guerrero.
Lee and Raz were arrested in Eastern Samar on April 26.
