Nora Aunor stars in 10th Cinemalaya entry 'Hustisya'

Nora Aunor topbills "Hustisya," an official entry to the Directors Showcase of the 10th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival (2014).

Directed by Joel Lamangan, the film is about corruption in the local government. Aunor plays the role of an assistant to a woman who is an instrument of corrupt politicians.

The script was written by Ricky Lee. The movie was supposed to be directed by Ishmael Bernal, but he passed away in 1996. Lee just revised the script to make it more current.

Also in the cast of the movie are Rocco Nacino, Romnick Sarmenta, Rosanna Roces, Jeric Gonzales, Gardo Versoza and Sunshine Dizon.

Cinemalaya 2014 is scheduled to run from August 1 to 10.
