GMA-7 has released a new teaser for Carmela featuring actual scenes from the upcoming Marian Rivera-starrer.
The new teaser shows the trials that Carmela's mom went through, how a Sir Fernando threatened to make her and her daughter's life a living hell, and how she was taken by the authorities because she stabbed the man who tried to rape her.
It is a very emotional scene as the young Carmela cries as she witnesses the arrest of her mother. And from that point we know she will grow up to be a strong woman, tested by the trials of life.
We also see why the mother, from the first teaser, doesn't want her to come back to their village.
The story line is quite exciting. Can't wait for January 27.
