Christian Bautista officially became part of GMA-7’s musical variety show Party Pilipinas on Sunday, March 24, 2013.
For his first production number, he sang three songs, among them of A Thousand Years with former girlfriend and ASAP colleague Rachelle Ann Go, plus his most successful single to date, The Way You Look At Me.
Christian signed a three year exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network on March 20, and he mentioned in the interview that he really thought about this career move with his parents and manager, and prayed a lot for guidance.
And his parents and manager seemed very supportive of the move because they were seen at the audience while Christian performed on Party Pilipinas stage.
After the performance, he was formally welcomed to the show and to the network by Raymond Gutierrez, Jolina Magdangal, Janno Gibbs and Rachelle Ann. He mentioned about looking forward to working in Eat Bulaga! and to doing a teleserye with Rachelle Ann.
