The first lead role of Patrick Sugui in Maalaala Mo Kaya (ABS-CBN) won in the national television ratings on Saturday, December 16, 2017, beating its rival program, Magpakailanman (GMA-7). The episode where Patrick played the role of a gay fashion designer got 24.6%, while the Kapuso drama anthology only got 14.8%.
FPJ's Ang Probinsyano starring Coco Martin was still on top from Dec. 12-15, again breaching the 40% mark on Dec. 13 (41.3%) and Dec. 14 (40.4%).
Meanwhile, Sunday (Dec. 17) was won by Little Big Shots (ABS-CBN) with 25.8%, followed by the Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona starrer Wansapanataym Presents: Jasmin's Flower Power (ABS-CBN) with 25.4%, and Goin' Bulilit (ABS-CBN) with 21.7%.
The GMA-7 magazine show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, on the other hand, beat its rival program Rated K (ABS-CBN), 20.0%-19.1%.
