The winners of "Eat Bulaga's" EB Dabarkads Awards 2016 were revealed on Saturday, April 2, 2016, recognizing those who shone in the noontime show's drama specials during the recent Holy Week.
The five Lenten drama episodes - "Walang Kapalit" starring Allan K and Kenneth Earl Medrano; "God Gave Me You" starring the love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza together with Jake Ejercito; "Panata" starring Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna; "Kaputol ng Buhay" starring Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros and Maine Mendoza; and "Dalangin ng Isang Ama" starring Joey de Leon and Ryan Agoncillo - gave the viewers of the noontime show a chance to watch their favorite hosts in dramatic roles.
Alden got the top acting honor, Most Dramatic Performance of a Lead Star, for his role in "God Gave Me You," the title of which was taken from the #KalyeSerye theme song of the same title originally performed by Bryan White.
Maine, who appeared in two episodes, was awarded Darling of the Screen.
