Rey Pamaran files slander case against Melissa Mendez

Rey N. Pamaran filed a criminal complaint for Slander by Deed against Melissa Mendez on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.

The model/businessman has taken the legal action against the veteran actress in connection with the controversial Cebu Pacific airplane incident that led to the offloading of Melissa from the flight last March 20, 2015.

In an Instagram post by GMA-7 senior news correspondent Nelson Canlas (@nelsoncanlas), Rey is showing a copy of the Complaint Affidavit while standing beside his lawyer, Atty. Raymond Fortun.

According to the photo's caption, Rey "files criminal complaint of slander by deed with damages amounting to P3 Million vs veteran actress Melissa Mendez."

Rey previously said that he will not take legal action if Melissa issues a public apology. Melissa did so on her Instagram account on Tuesday, but Rey wants her "to clear EVERYTHING IN DETAIL, including all the lies that she said about the incident." He also wants it done on TV, "because that is where you destroyed my name."
