Viral Videoke Star, Barker, Bohol Sisters try out 'The Voice PH' Blind Audition

A female barker, a viral videoke star, and a college student from New York will try to get a spot on a coach’s team in the continuation of the blind auditions in the top-rating and Twitter-trending “The Voice of the Philippines” this weekend (Nov 15 and 16).

The Voice of the Philippines coaches Apl.de.ap, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Mañalac

Host Luis Manzano once again travels to different parts of the country to invite artists to join “The Voice,” including two sisters from Bohol, who hope to make it past the blind auditions. But will the coaches turn around for both of them?

Those searching for inspiration can also look forward to the performance and journey of a pastor’s son who is struggling to get his life back on track after the death of his younger brother, a radio personality from Guam who will impress with his soulful rendition of “One Last Cry,” and an artist who became an instant celebrity when a video of her singing “Let It Go” went viral online.

Also auditioning in hopes of finally getting their big break are a New Yorker and college student, a barker who tries to please the coaches with her version of the song “Kiliti,” a performer who comes from a known family of musicians and a nephew of Hajji Alejandro, and a former member of a popular rock band. What motivates already famous musicians to join “The Voice”?

So far, Team Apl has acquired Bradley Holmes, Jannet Cadayona, and Mark Cando, while Team Sarah has recruited Daniel Ombao, Demie Fresco, Jason Dy, Kokoi Baldo, Monique Lualhati, and Vanessa Monot. Coach Bamboo, meanwhile, has built a strong team with artists Dang del Rosario, Kai Honasan, Karlo Mojica, Rence Rapanot, and Tanya Diaz, and coach Lea with Jem Cubil, Leah Patricio, Miro Valera, and Timothy Pavino. Which coach will the next four-chair turner pick?

Don’t miss the continuation of the blind auditions in “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2 this Saturday (Nov 15), 8:45PM and Sunday (Nov 16), 8:30 PM on ABS-CBN.
